    • @saxon267
      @saxon267 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      That is so off, if he wanted to advertise he would’ve focused more on the product and less on the numbers, and the 5.88% isn’t a weird number it’s precise for a reason if he doesn’t own 100% of the company then he can’t sell 100% of it so to speak

    • @jackstrada5263

      @@saxon267 You are aware they heavily edit the pitch? These pitches are about 2 hours which are cut down to the15 most exciting minutes. Since the valuation was ridiculous, it created the most dramatic content. He may have tried to focus on the product for 90 minutes with your stated intention. The producers not being idiots would have seen his intentions and cut most of it out. The logic of your comment suggests that the contestant controls the narrative. no. 5x bigger is 5x in sales and improving the net profit margin even if its selling only 1 board or 100. Even 10x sales would not make the business worth 4.3m. No investor pays today for the future value. For 250k they could start there own company , with 100% ownership not 5.8% and do what hes doing. Maybe if he had taken the investment it would of grown faster and being a case of a small piece of a bigger pie being worth more than all of a smaller pie

I moved from Ireland to Australia; in Ireland there was no swearing or sexual innuendo on tv or radio, the one radio channel that had swearing late at night was eventually censored but in Aus they have sexually implicit advertising on tv, swear on radio at any time of day and don’t censor much at all. I found it so crazy at first but now I find the cutting and bleeping of words weird and I prefer the swearing hahaha.
