brilliant shots - I enjoyed the run out to Liskeard and riding on the first train - then went off to see my daughter in Truro - true devotion - before catching the run back to Plymouth. It's great to have these images - truly excellent, thankyou.
Absolutely wonderful to see GWR engines working on the Looe branch again, looks like quite a lot of people turned out to watch it and I regret not going down there now myself (at the time it seemed to far to travel). Scenes of 9466 crossing the Royal Albert Bridge are just truly nostalgic and magnificent all at the same time. Outstanding footage, exceptional job!
Hi and thanks for the kind comment. 94xx's were regulary used to bank on the Lickey with 22,500 lb of tractive effort, a really efficient boiler, excellent adhesion and a good turn of speed . Alan
So pleased to have stumbled across this excellent piece of filming (thanks to You Tube's 'recommended viewing'). Some very good camera work, great vantage points, and superb editing. Thank you!

My pleasure Bob, thanks as always for your kind comments. Alan
Nice video indeed - my fav shot was the first level crossing - lots of people got a great demo of just how powerful those little engines are :-) :-)
