I'm noticing a lot of instances where someone talks like they're gonna give you an application and it just doesn't happen, like at 1:20:20. Do you have any idea what's up with that?
Good eye! That was me exiting out of the conversation. This town requires farming buildings and I don't want to invite too many non-farming buildings. Also, I did not do the best at designing this town, so when I invite a bunch of applicants, most of the farms have complaints, and as they are so spread out, it takes a while to solve them all. I was afraid that if I accepted all of the applicants, I would cause all the farms to have many complaints all at the same time.
@@metropolisgaming1829 Ah, that's fair enough! I had wondered if it was some sort of bug with later stages. I haven't actually played it myself since I was a kid, though I'd like to boot it up again soon, so I miss the fine details. As an aside, since I was pleasantly surprised to see someone actively playing this game in the modern day, I was going to see if I could get in touch with you because I recently learned some inner workings of the game (that as far as I know has never been documented anywhere) and would love to share them with other fans. Is that something you'd be interested in?
