    Those sandwiches have been around for a very long time in Korea. I was stationed there in '78-80 and our barmaid used to make them for us. I was quit a distance from Seoul.

      It's funny how they feel they invented something. I've been making this since 2000s in my own kitchen. I'm more than sure these are way older than they say. It's just a dumb catchy name behind an already invented food.

    Might have to do that the next time I go to my local Korean bakery. I think I'll brown the ham first and use chives instead of parsley though. (Chives and scrambled egg are a match made in heaven.)

    Single Slice Egg Toast is my favorite breakfast sandwich. Split one slice of bread, dump the eggs in the pan w'green onion, add the sliced bread, than flip them over. When eggs are ready, flip the whole thing over and cook the other side. Fold egg onto bread. Now add your ham, cheese and a sauce, like STRAWBERRY JAM and fold the entire sandwich onto itself and serve. Delicious!

    I often now make membosa when I want a fried snack. It's so delicious. I'm saving for a Zojirushi bread maker and I'll be eating sandwiches for the rest of my life 😂 I think sandwiches are my favourite things to eat. But then I have a slight bread addiction!

    I really think Hellmans Mayonnaise has been changed in the UK.
    It used to be thick the same as it looked like in the video, but the last 3 times I have bought it here, its nowhere near as thick and you can literally pour it out of the bottle once you've used it once.
    That sandwich looked amazing, great video :)

    • @deendrew36
      @deendrew36 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think hers might have been Miracle Whip. The blue lid is Miracle Whip, I think. I dunno. But I get Hellman’s all the time, and it looks super thick like this. Did you get the low fat one by accident? I find low fat mayos to be an odd texture.

    • @christinevenner183
      @christinevenner183 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Drew M no, it was the usual Hellmans
      When I opened the jar, it was thick, but the next day, it was like a custard consistency.
      I'm in the UK, so it could be different.
      It's just that it used to be really thick, but now, once the jar has been opened, it becomes sloppy.

    Looks really good, I'm gonna have to make this. Hopefully my eggs will turn out as lovely as your's did. And I keep meaning to buy Ghee, seeing how great that toasted bread looked I'm getting it my next trip to the store.

      4th and Heart
      Is the best brand: especially the one with Himalayan pink salt

      Ghee isn't hard to make. Basically just clarified butter.

    Looks super yummy. Egg drop sandwiches are small, like half the size of the bread you used ahahaha. I miss it now :(

    Looks good but I definitely want to try it with a different type of assembly 😄 also not with cold ham.

    Emmy, just so that you know, Canadian bacon is called peameal bacon and it's not smoked nor does it have an artificial smoky flavor, but still a great video.

    There are so many egg toast sandwich chains here in Korea now. I like Egg Drop but Isaac Toast is my favorite :)

    That bread is like an extra-tall New England-style hot dog bun.

    Emmy, have you made your own milk bread yet? It's not difficult and tastes wonderful. It is my go to bread now. 😊
