    Harmony makes me feel so many emotions!!! It embodies young royals and transmits everything the show makes me feel but all at the same time. It’s like a roller coaster that goes up and down at the same time. FEELINGS

    Another great interview. Now I have to watch Young Royals again and this time really pay attention to the music. This explains a lot on why the music was so special.

    Wonderful to know that background behind the musical score music that really brought out the emotions & tone for situations for the series. Since his music was not immediately released, I also noticed the themes he developed that he mentioned that were used for certain types of moods in the show. Interesting about Recomposed since I always felt it had a Royal tone, and learning it is a variation of a Bach song really makes sense for that one. I feel that all the music in the series was extraordinary: the musical score by Matti (so very glad that they pushed to release the musical score, I often want those as music as Pop soundtrack songs), the Pop music, and the traditional (mostly choral) music. It all fit so perfectly.

    Music is so important in movies and this series as well. I pay attention to it right away. Thanks to this soundtrack I discoved some incredible artists like Highasakite, Gina Dirawi, Ary or Mogli. I love the composed pieces too. Such variety ! Thank for this interview!!Finally someone put a spotlight on this important issue!!!

    I love the soundtrack. Does anyone know which piece by Johann Sebastian Bach „Recomposed“ refers to?

    • @erickfrancemeiradesouza7005
      @erickfrancemeiradesouza7005 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hello. I also loved the soundtrack! After spending several hours, looking at almost all bach pieces on the same tonality, I believe he, Matti Bye, took merely the first two bars from the 6th prelude from Bach's The Well Tempered Clavier. I was amazed to see, however, that only this little fragment of progression, it seems, was actually explored in Matti's music, Recomposed, and from there, he elaborated a fantastic piece which explored some interesting leaps if arranged for the piano alone, a bit hard to play, but possible, I'd say. I also identified that other versions of it were played in the series, here and there, but didn't make to the album version to which we have access. Anyway, I hope you check it and see if I may be right. The number of the piece, in Bach's catalogue, is BWV 851. The tonality, d minor. I myself, having loved all the artistic work made in this series (cinematography, music, script, acting etc.), couldn't help myself and make an arrangement, which I did, for piano solo, of this piece and a couple of others from the series. Hope this was of any help to others interested!

      @@theprpress Oh, thank you for the kind words! Glad to help. I am such a big fan of the series that I'm interested in arranging all the pieces this great composer did! And thank you so very much for making possible for us to watch such kind of interviews, with exceptional people, sharing all that information from the 'back' of the series! For me personally, when mr. Matti clarified that possibly Harmony Theme, Recomposed and Sun after Rain were his favorites, it hit me deeply, because these are my three favorites, and I made arrangements of Harmony Theme and Recomposed for now. All the soundtrack is amazing (as is the series), with classical elements yet, as he sad himself, a touch of contemporary music. His mentioning of using some 'retro' synths is something I loved, for I am very moved by the general nostalgia this series brings, despite, of course, so many other feelings people who watched are sharing. That's what I feel about both tunes, Harmony and Recomposed: a sense of melancoly, especially associated with the prince in the series, but also a sense of power, capability to beat odds he faces. Just beautiful work, all around the series. Thanks again for the attention and kindness!
