Woozi actually sent seungkwan the guide to yawn the day after he finished it, and it was during kwannies hiatus, He said he started crying from the first verse and after the album release seungkwan posted on weverse that the song brings great comfort to him and a picture of the lyrics he had written down himself (smth he has done before with another song to which the lyrics he really likes ). Im really glad seungkwan could find healing through yawn. And thank you for the reaction!
diamond days actually uses the same sample as their predebut song shining diamond so the line "slip into the diamond life" is indeed a callback there 😄 the song is about how even though they have come so far and achieved so many dreams, their hearts remain the same as when they started out and their promises to each other remain unwavering.
