- There is a tradition in the children's ensemble of Loktev. Each year, the ensemble graduates gather and, together with the current members of the ensemble, dance, almost the entire repertoire, without stopping.
Someone in 11-12 years old went to study at the Moscow State Academy of Choreography (MGAH) (bolshoi ballet academy).
Someone at the age of 14-15 left to study at a school-studio at the Moiseev Ensemble.
At the age of 18, someone left for an institute that has nothing to do with choreography, for example, at Moscow State University (MSU), for some ... applied mathematics. )))
This is all not important. You know or don’t know, remember or don’t remember, Everybody dance!

Smiling, socializing, exercising, connecting, joyfullizing...people need people..what a joy to see them like this..Russians have a great culture...the orchestra, the choir also magnificent..from America...thank you Russians for letting us have the great privilege of enjoying this magnificent entertainment 😀

The truly wonderful thing about these videos, is that it shows such enthusiasm by all the dancers and the sheer enjoyment on their faces, especially if they make a mistake. More of these please))))

Вот довелось мне сегодня 15 декабря 2019 года заглянуть одним глазком, заглянуть в кузницу, где выковывается мастерство, выковывается через слёзы и радость, через оптимизм, уныние и энтузиазм, сквозь все эмоции годами трудным трудом выковываются мастерство и мастера, люди нашего общества, которые делятся своими способностями со всеми нами.
Заглянул, -- и очень ценю ваш труд и мастерство!
Правильно утверждаете вы: -- Должны смеяться дети!!!

Вот, вот! Весело нам жиломь в Советском Союзе, потому что отовсюду позитив и задорные песни и пояски лились- и по радио и по телевизору и на улице, словом- везде, не то, сто сейчас- сплошная чернуха и дипресняк!! Хорошие детки, но посему их в телевизоре нет???
Прибыли не принесет и нет хайпа вот по этому и не показывают .

Часто показывают по каналу Культура, когда ансамбль участвует в концертах, как правило, в Кремле. Танцуй и пой моя Россия, День учителя и т.д. Фестиваль Светланы Захаровой. На канале Россия, в конкурсе "Синяя птица" и т.д.
Видно - по лицам детей (и уже не очень детей) - что им интересно, увлекательно и комфортно! Это - такая редкость сейчас!

It's lovely the way that order spontaneously evolves out of chaos, the smiles on the faces and the obvious enjoyment the kids get from dancing. This almost more than the finely choreographed stage performances stands as a true tribute to the Loktev Ensemble and the adults who run it. It seems like they never lose sight of the fact that, despite all the unavoidable pressures and necessary hard work the kids must be happy doing it.

I've noticed that the pupils of the school, whether rehearsing or performing, appear relaxed and happy. You see smiles, both on stage and off. The school seems to allow them to be young people. This contrasts with a number of videos I've seen of Russian ballet schools where the pupils appear stressed, unhappy and under relentless pressure; the joy of dance is completely lost with such an approach. It always seems so unnecessary to me to create that kind of atmosphere, even in a competitive environment like ballet. So nice to see an alternative approach here!
Everything is a little bit wrong. ))) This is not a lesson or even a rehearsal. This is a party that takes place once a year, when graduates of different years come and all dance together without a break. That's why everyone is so funny. ))) But in the classroom, everything would be serious. Especially if it were a professional choreographic school, such as the school of the Moiseyev ensemble or The Academy of choreography at the Bolshoi theater. There are no smiles. Work, work, and work again. As they say in Russia, to the seventh sweat.

@@AntonGloba Oh, I see; thanks for clarifying the nature of the video. I did think it looked like an end-of-term get together of some sort but I think it still says something important in that they wanted to spend their party time dancing and seemed to enjoy doing so. I noticed they also seem to enjoy doing the formal performances as well, although I don't doubt that they work extremely hard to get to the impressive level they achieve! :-)
