Nathan TheNutcase actually no, the mk1 Gallardo came out in 2003, and we didn't see the R8 until 2007 (with a 4.2L V8).... and then the Gallardo LP560-4 came out in 2008, and the V10 R8, which used the same engine as the LP560, didn't come out until 2010... and even with the new models, the Huracan came out in 2014, the new R8 didn't come out until last year, so I don't know where you're getting the information that the R8 came out before
Right now I'd have to say this new generation R8 is my current obsession. If I could have any car at the moment, it might be the R8 V10 plus. I really like the carbon fixed wing it has. Sport exhaust is also a must!

What do you mean the car is "similar" to Huracan? It is Huracan. Huracan's actually fitted with the same engine, which happens to have been engineered by Audi, not Lambo.
Yeah first generation will be a classic and looks way better, but it would be interesting if Audi placed their 4.0 twin turbo v8 in this car as a lower cost option compared to the v10. The 4.0 is a beast motor in itself.
Interior wise this new R8 has definitely a much better layout than its predecessor, however I'm not sure about the exterior. The new design language for Audi looks good for most of their models but I feel like the old R8 looks better, just my 2 cents

I need a professional opinion. Two cars i want. Infiniti g37X awd for 17,980, 32k miles. Same car but it's called g37XS (sport model) for 16,980 with same miles.. Idk why it's cheaper. The 17k one is certified pre owned. The dealer that's selling the sport model says it's pre certified pre owned in "perfect condition" both cars are about a 4 hour drive from my house .. something about the SPORT sounds fishy but i need help. Stock R8 might be slower than the Lambo but the extra weight of the Audi benefits it when it gets a UR X package and is pushing out over 2000hp which is exactly what I would do with one if I could actually afford it lol.
To be honest I think the 2007-2011 Audi R8 4.2 looks the best, followed by the 2012-2014 Audi R8 then this. I loved the R8 for the smooth curves it had and the simplicity of it. This is the total opposite for curves and a bit more sophisticated, it looks nice but doesn't pull the heart like the old one did
I really like that McLaren decided to produce cars for the regular consumers !! they are Badass! Love seeing them on the road and they are affordable !!!!!

Porsche has a different curb appeal from audi, the only reason people recognize audis is because of what the R8 has done.
