Did you lay the entire driveway on a sand and cement mix? If so what mix did you use ? Thanks

Yes for this particular driveway. We used 1:4 cement to sharp sand mix. We also slurried (primed) the back of the setts, however it’s just beat practice and you don’t necessarily have to do it.

That’s a soakaway crate, it’s where the water from the drainage channels go.

looks great. i usually seen it installed on multi layered rock and sand compacted, your method looked like cement and you applied it as you went.

Hi, yes normally block paving is laid how you described. However this block has to be laid slightly different. There is still hardcore rock underneath, but instead of sand you have to use mortar and also fill the gaps with mortar
