Silk does make single serving shelf-stable vegan milks. I have only seen soy and almond varieties and the flavors I have seen are regular/original, very vanilla, and chocolate.
I've seen both Silk and Oatly single servings, and both are offered at my university. I think both are shelf stable, but I'm not completely sure because they are always chilled in the dining halls.
@@sleepyntired_ I think they do that because they are meant to be consumed immediately in that situation. Nobody wants lukewarm chocolate milk 😂
I’ve seen shelf stable almond and soy offered at hospitals.
The Tetrapak aseptic packaging is what makes it shelf-stable. It's like canning, but in paper. Milk that's aseptically packaged is more dense, I found when I was still drinking dairy and compared the regular Horizon with the aseptic lunch packs. I am _not_ a chocolate milk connoisseur, but know people who are, and I don't get to Aldi that often, so I appreciate this review. Thanks for posting!

The Ripple is good. I have only ever been able to get the small ones in Ripple. I have taken them on camping trips with me, so I can make apple, blueberry granola “cereal” bowls. Price isn’t great, but super convenient for traveling.

The reason why it's shelf stable is processing and packaging. It's the same thing that they do to other milks.
This ☝🏾The pasteurization process and the type of package allows it to be shelf stable. Enough heat and pressure for the right length of time in the proper packaging allows for a sterile environment.
Whaaaaat. I can NOT wait to find the chocolate milk and the minis! The minis would be perfect when traveling. Finally could have my splash of milk in coffee without leaving a huge container of unfinished milk in my friends'/family's fridge =)

The not icecream get there allready? You should try it when it happens, the not icecream are so yummy. Nice to see the notmilk (chilean product) get more to international market. There is others flavors of notmilk I could recommend: caramel and coffe, notmilk without sugar. Note: the size of the boxes in USA are huge, here in Chile we have only 1 liter
Love that they’re diversifying-Notco did a collab to make vegan ice cream + milkshakes at shake shack earlier this year! It was pretty good, but only in nyc
Shelf stable milk has to be treated w more heat than non-shelf stable, so that’s probably why you taste a bit of a difference.

Blue Diamond Almond Milk also has small individual containers of regular and chocolate milk that is shelf stable .
I might give this a shot. I use to love Not Milk but I brought on sale at Publix for 2 for $5. I put one in the freezer and when it thawed it separated and just never came back together. Really turned me off but I'd try this again love the single serving boxes!
Just received my single serve containers of the whole milk and chocolate milk. The chocolate is so good.

I’m still a BonSoy die hard fan 🥰 I have been vegan for over 10 years, for our animal siblings of course, and am blown away by all the wonderful savoury foods, milks, sweets we are being gifted with. Just wish all the world chose kindness. When I transitioned in 2012 it was nothing like this but you don’t see that when you’re vegan for the animals.

Sorry I forgot to mention! I love the Alpro Strawberry flavoured milk! 😋 I get it from the Vegan Grocery Store here as it’s not available in other places. In one of those small cartons you guys had there. It’s perfect! Reduced sugar as well! Just the right sweetness and creaminess 🥰 I should try their regular milk too which is available at some supermarkets. Such an AMAZING yummy range ALPRO has! Including their vanilla flavoured custard! Oh my..More perfection..🤤 The best custard and strawberry milk I have ever had! 😋🥰

Silk has made those lil milks ….they’ve made them since I was in college a million years ago lol like 2010 Ish I think🤔 pretty sure that I use to take them to class
We took them in road-trips when my kids were little. I still get them when I go on a trip.

Whole foods has vegan mini shelf stable milks in the aisle with the other shelf stable milks I can't remember the brand right now but they did have a few

nevermind- is friendly farms- I only like the chocolate notmilk but now am going to try friendly farms- I found one other that is unsweetened: blue diamond- also shelf stable and that is good

The Ripple chocolate milk changed the game for me. My non-plant based family drink it as soon as I open it.

If Notco changes the formula to remove the cabbage, pineapple and pea protein, they might have a winner. For now, I’m a Next milk fan.
I used the 2% version of Next Milk in my pints of nice cream for my new Ninja creami machine. I've eaten the chocolate banana I made and it was scoopable and delicious. I used a tiny bit on my oatmeal this week too. I won't want to consume too much because of the higher fat content but I know I'll be buying the lower fat version again. It was a good find.

I myself, am against real milk. It causes me lactose intolerant, so no tolerating milk in my house!

check the potential free speech index finger on the chin gesture- could be d2bw hint- awesome if so. um I find that the almond chocolate plant milks taste like chocolate covered almonds which is great but I like the notmilk one better too because it has no almond or other nut taste to it- weird that the closest to actual chocolate milk is basically sugar water :O
Pea protein is an allergin for anyone with pea allergies, so you might want to revise your statement that it doesn’t have any of the top allergies. Because allergic reactions are usually triggered by proteins, foods containing concentrated protein sources such as pea protein are likely to trigger more severe reactions if accidentally consumed by people with an allergy to that food. Therefore, pea protein is a particular concern for people with an allergy to peas.
I believe they stated there’s none of the top 9 allergens. They do usually call out pea protein as well since it’s common.
