    I actually liked the fact that mihyun just shot the cleaning lady in the head as soon as she found out that they were a threat to his son..
    It was a quick death because she was not playing around AT ALL

    fun fact, Han Hyo Joo (actress of Mihyun) was in US TV Series “Treadstone” which is a spinoff of Jason Bourne franchise. Her role was North Korean secret agent. It’s kinda interesting that now she’s directly fighting the North Korean.

    Syntell, your tin foil hat is super effective 😅 your theories are pretty on point. I won't say more coz the next episode reveals more anyway.
    I *DO* want to say, though, that I really hope the two of you get to watch the Kdrama "Happiness" together. I'm pretty sure you'd both enjoy it!

    I watched one of writer kang's interviews, he said he would give the audience the right to judge for himself all the characters in the drama whether it be monsters or heroes. But one thing is certain, when it comes to their children or family, there will be no compromise on that, and it gives us a picture, no matter what, they are still amazing parents.
    Btw love ur reaction guys❤, keep it up💪🔥

    I think that Bungaeman is still being observed and being taken care of by the government, although in unaware ways for him.
    1. The government knew that he inherited his father's power even though he was finally categorized as disqualified. It was written in the NTDP file. So there are plenty reason for the government to still keep an eye on him.
    2. He got fired from his job as Bungaeman because one day his gloves had suddenly holes, which is something he tried to be very careful about due to his uncontrollable power. One could suspect that somebody (probably someone connected to the government) made those holes in his gloves intentionally to keep check on his power development.
    3. He got his job as a bus driver very coincidentally : a bus had its engine broken right in front of HIM, who had THE potential to fix it. What a convenient coincidence right?
    So probably the government was behind all this all along, and that is perhaps also the reason why he still keeps his job. Maybe that bus company is secretly owned by the government or indirectly influenced by the government?

    I'm not surprised that the cleaning lady went quickly because she was overly emotional in comparison to Mihyun. Her powers are passive, but she uses them intelligently.

    Before Lee Mi-hyun and the North Korean spy start fighting, Mi-hyun asks her where she was from and she initially answers from Yanbian, then changes her answer to Pyongyang (the capital of North Korea) when she realizes that she has been discovery given that Mi-hyun, with his developed senses, is able to perceive every slightest dialect inflection of a language. But why did you answer Yanbian first? As I wrote under the video of the eighth episode, the one where Lee Mi-hyun faced his debut mission in 1992 in Yanbian, Yanbian is a Korean autonomous prefecture located in the eastern part of the Jilin province in China, near the North Korean and Russian borders. This prefecture is largely inhabited by Koreans originally from the North, this is due to various factors over time, not least the Japanese occupation. So for the North Korean spy, who has trouble disguising her accent, saying she is Yanbian is a good cover, at least in theory. Furthermore, Mi-hyun's fighting skills do not only come from his training as an ANSP agent, but also from his super-developed senses, which allow him very fast reflexes.
    It is truly touching how Mi-hyun conveyed Doo-sik's words to Bong-seok about the teachings on how to fly: as he himself says, the important thing is to learn to fall well and so, finally, Bong-seok finally manages to be the hero he has always dreamed of being, but above all to take revenge on that moment "stolen", so to speak, by Gang-hoon, when he saved Hui-soo in the gym in his place. The scene is so well constructed, as if it were a superhero origin story, with a mixture of heroism, romance and a hint of hilarity when Hui-soo slaps Bong-seok in the face in terror because she's scared. Magnificent example of direction, writing and acting. I find it very cute that Hui-soo and Bong-seok fight as if they were the protagonists of a Japanese anime: screaming as they throw themselves towards the enemy, the only thing missing was the name of the shouting fighting technique. However, in case confirmation was needed, the aggression of Jung Jun-hwa, the flying North Korean, established what had been evident for some time: Hui-soo inherited regeneration from Ju-won, but not superstrength (which this is present in his DNA, but has not yet awakened, that's another matter), superstrength that Ju-won shows again when he faces Kwon Yong-deuk, the enormous North Korean whose leg Ju-won breaks as if he were a breadstick and then pick it up and throw it against the wall like a battering ram immediately afterwards; and in case you hadn't understood, Kwon Yong-deuk evidently has the same powers as Ju-won and Frank: super strength and regeneration. In case further proof was needed that Choi Il-hwan really cares about his students, here he is standing between the North Korean with superhuman reflexes and Bang Ki-soo (who in the meantime is also looking for the files to take his revenge on the school ), in a truly altruistic and affectionate gesture.
    As we had already guessed from Jo Rae-hyuk's words during the hunt for infiltrated North Korean soldiers in 1996, North Korea began developing its superhuman program in July 1994, coinciding with Doo-sik's mission in North Korea; so it is confirmed to us by Kim Deok-yoon, the leader of the North Koreans who are now attacking the school, that all this mess with the North Koreans started, indirectly, with Doo-sik, who revealed, with his presence to the North Koreans, that superhumans exist and therefore the arms race has begun on their part with the development of superhumans by the North. The scene of Mi-hyun is decidedly powerful: upon hearing Kim Deok-yoon's words about Doo-sik, she goes into "getting serious" mode, taking off her glasses and assuming a very serious expression, while slowly walking under the snow holding the gun, a sign that now, in fact, he will be serious.
    Small additional notes: the North Korean infiltrated as a cleaner has no power, she is just a trained soldier. Jung Jun-hwa, the flying North Korean only has the power of flight, he has no super strength. Kim Deok-Yoon, if you notice, is missing the phalanx of the index finger of his right hand.

    We left too many Easter eggs for Season 2 It's definitely fun..There were a lot of Korean sentiments There's also a lack of subtitles, so even if you two don't understand There must have been. Kang Pul's worldview series is about various webtoons It would be nice to take a look

    THANKS for this!
    Yeah, this was when I was wishing "Moving" was a movie so we could *get to the damn "Endgame" climax!!!* LOL!!! The fact that my future wife :) was back fulltime and not playing around did help, though! (Summer, shoot your shot! The men in the cast who've caught your eye would be *lucky* to have you! LOL!)
    I love how evil dude turned that gym into the X-Men's Danger Room :)
    Jang He-soo was *so* thinking about baby names when my man Goofy finally Lois-Laned her :)
    What a wonderful drama! I can't wait for Season Two! And with it being award-winning and popular, the showrunners need to get to it *right away.*

    Summer, you have keen eyes to pick up the cleaner's clothes look like from the North. Mihyun brought her gun from home. I guess, even though she was the first in her class and has some fighting skills, knowing that she doesn't have any power in terms of fighting, she will shoot just like her husband. Syntell, I think you had a really important point of a system discovering the talents and some systems find better talents. See how North Korea does in the following episodes. And I would like to add to what you said that after finding the talents, how you develop them is also important. But also, how much the person being developed want it is important. The reason Korea became from one of the poorest countries to the one of the richest is the education and now you see from many K-dramas that it has problems. When it was poor, it made it rich, but when it became rich, the students don't have the desperate desire to do better and the same system produces many bad side effects. Koreans call this desperate desire, "Hungry Mentality." This mentality bring out a little more than what you are capable. Korea with a significantly less land and population compare to others can compete with others and sometimes beat them because Koreans have this "Hungry Mentality." It is a kind of apparent when Korean teams or individuals competing for a medal that can waive their duty to serve in the army. They usually win those games because they have an extra motivation. Things we can do when we are desperate. "Bad Mother" shows that kind of moment. It doesn't have much action, but I think you guys will enjoy this drama. But for some reason, the title is translated, "The Good Bad Mother." The doctor from "Glory" is the main character in this drama. I guess it's a long shot, but I wanted to put it out there. Who knows, many others will also recommend. Thanks for your reactions!!!

    • @lightup6751
      @lightup6751 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree with most of what you said. But Korean people win medals because they are dedicated and committed to winning them more than anything else. Just like other athletes from other countries. Koreans got a lot of national pride. But that isn’t derived from that mentality you speak of. K-Dramas while using themes based on facts about the culture are mostly fiction.

    • @user-xh4sf7gb7c
      @user-xh4sf7gb7c ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lightup6751 Not any more as Korea is not poor any more and what I meant is that it brings out a little more when things are equal, not that it's the basic power behind winning.
