Bong-seok doesn't have that kind of feelings (lust) for Hui-soo.. Why he grabbed on to his desk when she called his name, or why he held on to the locker door is because he floats when he is happy. He's simply trying not to float in public.

@@preexthis clearly you haven't seen many Kdramas and are applying western innuendos when there isn't any. Don't worry, you're not the first reviewer to think this.
@@preexthis like I mentioned before, you're not the first reviewer to immediately assume that Bong-seok gets a hard-on each time Hui-soo is sweet to him, when that wasn't the case.
Is it hard to believe that he could just be happy? Like he mentioned before, his gift is tied to his emotional state and when his mom noticed this, she smiled less and less at him.
@@cuclainne You know movies and series are subjective right? As are virtually all art forms. They're meant to be perceived through different perspectives and lenses and so they're interpreted in different ways, which includes western interpretations on eastern stories. Policing the way people enjoy movies is weird.
@@creepz119 you have to admit that it's the western way to oversexualise everything since it's quite common in their tv shows, yah. Their 'teen' shows from Euphoria to Sex Education for eg. That's what I noticed from the western reviewers of this show - they immediately think oh, it's something sexual - which some other reviewers admit to.
You mentioned that they are meant to be perceived through different perspectives and lenses, so they're interpreted in different ways - yet you called my interpretation as policing. 👏👏
Anyways, that's all I have to say about it..
There's always a disclaimer at the beginning of the episode that the story is fictional because the government organization (ANSP/NIS) is real. And if you will pay attention to the flashback episodes around episodes 8-14, some of the events that will be shown happened in real life and was carefully weaved in the plot. International viewers may not get this right away since we are not familiar with Korea's history, but that's one of the reasons why they put such disclaimer.
There are 20 episodes. So it takes time to unreveal the story but trust me it's gonna blow your mind. 😊

MOVING drama is the best drama so far this year. The casts (veterans actors) are very well known and expensive actors while the 3 main kids also rising stars in drama scene. Moving won 6 awards at film festival asia contents awards few days ago. Both newcomer actor and actress won by the flying kid and the runner girl. Her father won best lead actor.
This year, it is the most popular K-drama.
The narrative of the children's parents' story is also solid, so I hope you enjoy it until episode 20.
It's a slightly different style from existing hero dramas.
They have the disclaimer at the beginning about it being fictional because they do incorporate notable events in Korean history/politics.
in contrast to western individualist societies, korea is a collectivist society like most east asian countries. this means societal harmony is emphasised above all else hence one person's behaviour is considered to have an effect on others which is why the mum scolded bongseok regardless of his indirect involvement. both cultures have it's pros and cons. pros of collectivist societies are that crime rates are lower since people usuallh don't want to cause trouble for others even if it means sacrificing themselves a bit.
This show is EPIC.

@@hyunwooko4991 People don't need to mimic emotions to have empathy - you can understand another person's circumstances without being in the same emotional state at them. You evidently don't understand what empathy means. And if your reaction is different to other people's then why are you telling them how they should react? Go and make a reaction channel.
