Jazwares lost fortnite license for 6inch & 4inch figures to hasbro, so I initially wondered if they were going to lose the 6inch license for halo to valaverse (I might have thought he'd leave the 4inch line alone, but since they're also doing that limited retro 3.75" joecon exclusive, he might be open to that). His recent announcement of his not-B.A.T. (but C.A.T., S.A.T.) involved him acquiring the services of individuals that have talent in similar aesthetics. The things that weigh against that possibility are that halo is currently in big box retail, and Bobby is not, so they might not have incentive to go with him. That said, it makes me think one of the first person shooting games, maybe one of the Tom Clancy series is what he picked up. Or perhaps CoD since they've previously tried action figures before.
Very interesting, I'm so excited to see what they have in store for this new IP. So many awesome options out there. When he said enormous I took that to mean lots of characters so that lead me to Dick Tracy as well he said he would love to do that line less then a year ago. Can't wait to see what it is. I’m thinking it may be a video game like Metal Gear solid or God of War. But he has hinted he likes the throw back guns so Dick Tracy is a good guess and definitely possible.
A lot of people are suggesting Metal Gear so I could see that. One thing that lead me to Dick Tracy is Bobby Vala used the word enormous IP and I took that to mean an enormous catalog of characters along with him mentioning he wants to do a Dick Tracy line not even a year ago led me to that guess. I do like his toy designs and he really did a lot with just a few basic bodies for these first few series. Hoping it’s sci fi/ fantasy related. Though I have a feeling it will be off the beaten path.
