Uberflex video comparison against my 3/8 is being edited right now. Bought two so I could play with one. 85% of the comments was the uberflex so had to try it out. It’s amazing.

Nozzle guard is a huge saver, I was victim of a plastic tip denting my old hood LOL 😅
I’ve made a few mistakes in the past a nozzle guard would have saved me.
1/4 " Uberflex Propulse 50 ,like it very flexible & easy to work with.
It’s in the lead right now.
I knew there would be a small window based on your original vid to actually make and ebay a few before other companies started. Still like the look of the one you made the best. The other MTM guard that’s not as pliable($6.99)is also nice using 1/4” female qc and small threaded coupler. Thats a more realistic price point($25)compared to the acqualine@ $47.99 on MTM $37 Amazon or Clean garage. I bought one just out of curiosity and they use a unique coupler I’m assuming is proprietary and very tough to take apart 😂. You should of been apart of the design team as the price is better but aesthetically not quite as appealing to the ones you made. Great work once again!!

2.5 creates way too much amperage and will overload the motor. 3.5 is the smallest you can use on a 2.0. Appreciate the kind words.
I’m still trying to get my first electric pressure washer setup - I would say go with an uberflex 50’ hose.

Do the Flexzilla hose with the giveaway. I've really enjoyed the one I have with my Ryobi. The green looks cool too. Nice video. I ordered. For some reason, the links seem messed up to the wrong amazon items but I found them.
I fixed them. Companies switch around the items on the listings all the time. Thanks for letting me know. I ended up going uberflex for the giveaway which is very similar to the Flexzilla.

Have you tried the mtm acqualine ones with nozzle guards? Is this mckillans one better than that or equivalent?
I have not they are too expensive for my taste. They are all equivalent when it comes to performance as it’s all about protecting the paint from accidental touching. In that case I think the Mckillans is superior as the nozzle is more inside and less metal showing in the quick connect area plus cheaper. Only issue with Mckillans is only one size which is 4.0, but you can order more tips and change them out. Ridge washer also makes a set of nozzles for $20 and they are real good too plus several sizes to choose from. amzn.to/42Al6tU
It would be interesting to experiment with a 1/4 hose from a performance standpoint…in grey like the one in your video.
I will for sure be using this as an opportunity to review something different.

@@rubenharris9241 I wouldn’t think so. To me the biggest reason to run 3/8 is a heavier hose to stay flat on the floor and 3/8 fitting. Most 1/4 come with m22 fittings. You won’t see the difference I wouldn’t think until much higher psi and flow of a gas pressure washer. 3/8 are usually rated much higher for pressure.

Where do I find the orifice kit that has all the different tip sizes in it or do I have to buy them all separately?
You can find some on Amazon that have the different angles for a specific orifice. Most sites such as MTM and others sell them as single pieces. I have not seen a kit that has different orifice sizes together though.
do you know of a kit that has a bunch of threaded 40 degree nozzles with different orifice sizes?
I have not seen one yet. I have looked all over for them. Its either a 4 pack of all the same or a 4 pack of different degrees for the same orifice.
I came across this video more recently, but i was curious if you have tried the nozzle tips from carbon collective available in the us through detail division
I’ve seen them, but too expensive for me especially with the shipping. They have too much exposed metal as well. Maybe I will try them some day. The MTM Aqualine have been dropping in price finally so those are a good under $30 option now. Some are $25 now on Amazon.
@@CarsWithKeav its 60 dollars for 3 nozzles, each nozzle comes out cheaper than a mckillian and definitely cheaper than mtms. I figured since you have gone into such detail and effort you might have looked into them
@@veils1de350z Does come with 3, but one is a 0 degree so would never use that. If you split 3 ways then it would be cheaper, but I just don’t like the design same as Mosmatic with just tons of excess metal and threading outside the guard area.
Sorry, last question what is your favorite nozzle guard the MTM with o ring or McKillans?
I prefer the Mckillans as the best overall and the Ridge Washer ones as the best value.
I’m new at detailing my own car, so what’s the difference between the big one and the little one? 9:25
No difference other than the three that were in my hand had different size openings depending on the pressure washer and the flow/pressure I am looking for. These are just to protect you from making a mistake. All nozzles work the same if they have the same opening size just some look different and others like these have rubber guards to protect the paint.
Does this nozzle have the option of having a 3.0 orifice I can’t find it anywhere and I can’t find just the black housing to make different ones
You can change them out. This company only makes a 4.0 so if you wanted this one you would have to get a 4.0 and buy different size nozzles.
My question is if you don’t mind answering can be active 2.0 handle a smaller orifice than 3.5 or 3.0

Isn’t 5.0 orifice is better for Active 2.0? Obsessed Garage recommends 5.0 because in their test they measured 1.9 gpm with 4.0 orifice and 2.1 gpm with 5.0 orifice.
I go off what I prefer which is closer to 1k PsI. 5.0 will get around 700 PSI. I personally like the 4.0 and sometimes go for the 4.5 for a final rinse.
Where do you source your bare nozzle tips?
Depending on the orifice and degree I can get some on Amazon and the rest I get from MTM.

True, I wasn’t looking to make a product to sale since I was using parts bought from other companies with patents on those items. I just hated the high prices for no reason on nozzle guards.
