    Yes local library - they have high quality printers. The only thing is you have to ask if you can change the paper. Depending where some of us are nice and will accommodate it. As it’s my day job I happily help many peeps.

    Hp instant ink is amazing!! I used it last year for school, and I had a great experience. I printed a lot and never ran out and it was less stressful than going to the store and buying the cartridges myself, which sometimes the store didn't have.

    Would you ever do a video of how you cut your stickers with the cricut? I want to get a cricut but I have no idea how the cutting would work?

    Wow. I'd finally have a use for my Cricut Air if I started to do this. 🙃 So far it sits in the box... used a half dozen times or so when we first got it and played with it. 😊 We've even got a proper postal scale, padded envelopes, good cardstock... most of what you've talked about needing. I'll go see if you talk about how to actually start the business. Thank you for all the information! 😃🥰
    I make handmade, large cards for fun and relaxation. I looked into selling them on Etsy but the amount that others charge is ridiculously low and, to me, not worth the effort or costs involved. Looking at the sticker sellers on Etsy... good grief! Most of the stickers are selling for more than a card that can take me two to three hours to make. Kinda makes me wonder...

    Etsy charges 6.5% transaction fee as well as 6.5% postage fee, 3% + .25c processing fee, auto renewal fee (per item sold not per listing) 28c, 28c expired listing fee, 28c multi listing fee...and more than I dont know the percentage of. Comes to 30% fee per sale.

    • @LL-ex1gp
      @LL-ex1gp ปีที่แล้ว

      Your numbers don’t add up to 30%. Is there something you’re including, not listed?

    • @jacintaanderson
      @jacintaanderson ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LL-ex1gp yes as i said there are more these are just the ones that I have found so far. When you look at the statement of fees vs income there is a 30% difference.

    • @HLB512
      @HLB512 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There's a listing fee. There's a transaction fee and processing fee (up to 6.5% and 3%+.25c).....it's not 6.5 for postage fee on top of that.

    Thank you for your content. 95$ ok but your final price excludes the printer, cutting machine, tablet and drawing software. It’s so expensive to start a business 😮

  • @susanturner1171

    You don't mention or I didn't hear it anyway I got sidetracked with a barking dog LOL, isn't the iPad that you design your stickers on extremely expensive? The one that you list down below is no longer available on Amazon but the prices for I assume comparable ones are pretty darn expensive.

    • @Dreamy-writer
      @Dreamy-writer 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      iPads are very pricey. For a cheaper alternative (but still $$ depending on your budget) you could also buy a drawing tablet for your computer. Some run as low as $60. Then you could use a free drawing software such as Krita:)

      @demelzapoldark3035 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Dreamy-writer thank you for replying & your video. I'm also trying to figure out the cheapest way to do it. I've never heard of the drawing program you mentioned above that starts with a 'K'. (My Reply Boc is covering it up right now.)

      As long you don't use copyrighted logos/sticker designs then no! Since you're own creations are copyrighted by yourself!

      @@SUMIIONI While you do have a copyright when you create something, if you don’t register, you’ll have a hard time taking it to court. Most lawyers won’t even entertain it without registration and you’ll receive less compensation than you would w a registered copyright for it.

      Make your own informative video if you don't like how someone speaks. That's extremely rude. She speaks how she speaks...and it's absolutely nothing wrong with how she speaks.
