Sweet video. I just happened to notice on Breathe there’s an error in which string a part is played. I’m sure you’ll see it immediately. Looks like just a simple error of the wrong string, because the numbers are correct.
It's a simple riff but... There's something about the "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" riff that makes me feel like i should seek something mysterious and hidden in a very misty place surrounded by trees.... David Gilmour is definitely a genius.
@@seanandben I watched a video where Gilmour explained the moment of the creation of that riff. He said he was just "playing" with the guitar, and then he strummed those strings and the riff came out like magic.
Young Lust, Pigs, Sheep, Learning to Fly, Brick Part 1, Cigar and Shine On are some of my favourites to jam along with but I'm surprised that Run Like Hell wasn't here. That's also one of David's best riffs but still a great vid, keep it up man
Gerçekten emek kokan bir video olmuş hocam ellerinize sağlık. Learning to fly'ı görmek çok güzel oldu çünkü pink floyd best riffs videolarında her zaman 1.
İlk dönemlerden The Nile Song'daki riffler de güzeldir. Bu konuda uzman değilim ama David Gilmour'un riffleri ritm özelliklerinin yanında çoğunlukla melodik ögeler taşır.
Love these videos. I was wondering, have you examined any of Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets stuff? Would you be opposed to doing some videos/tabs of those? I ask because it happens to be my favorite era of Floyd and I think they really do a great job with the music. Some dare I say I even like a bit better than the originals.
You know, I debated adding RLH to the list, it should be on the list, but I couldn't bare to take off any on my list. Maybe I should've made an honorable mention.
@@mustyguitar Yep it's really an hard choice... i think... for every PF song. Anyway just a good occasion to tell you how good is your playing and how much the tones are spot on Man! 👌👍👏

Yes I love this kind of content!
Yes i love it because there is nothing so quality elsewhere!
Sweet video.

Would be nice to tab out david gilmour's solo stuff completely as there aren't that many tabs for them
Absolutely, it's really useful tool for people to play along with and watch how you add melody and harmonics to the notes
Nice to see Learning to Fly being included in a compilation like this - such an underrated masterpiece!
Echoes has so many different moods and incredible moments. It's a masterpiece.
You just get better each and every video
that's my goal
It's a simple riff but... There's something about the "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" riff that makes me feel like i should seek something mysterious and hidden in a very misty place surrounded by trees....
David Gilmour is definitely a genius.
Apparently, the riff was an "accident" in as much as it wasn't what he intended to play but it sounds great!

young lust is so underrated.Great job.
Wow wow mustafaaa all of them are beautiful

Outside of Gilmour, it's criminal Interstellar Overdrive isn't on this list, I'd include Lucifer Sam as an underrated riff too
@@cesarcastillo7129 True, Syd really did have some incredibly badass riffs as well

Great playing! Would love a video with more Echoes solo(s) lesson/tab. Especially the studio version. There’s almost nothing out there.
I will cover studio, pompeii and gdansk versions with full tabs, it's on my list
Great work
Ohhhhh😮
Fantasctic ! Thank you for share.
Echoes...the funky part is heads above my favorite riff. But, they are ALL good!
Solos with tabs would be awesome!
I got a lot of plans and this is one of them Parker
@@mustyguitar thanks dude, This video will keep me busy for quite a while👍
Just to add, what these riffs really make clear is just how many muted strings David plays, I struggle at the minute to make them sound musical.
✨TIME✨ is the utmost succulent one, in my view ✨🫶✨
Gilmour is an underrated rhythm guitarist
I would put Dave at the top of both rhythim and lead guitarists.

Gracias
What is your Blue Strat? It's beautiful
thank you, it's my old 50's reissue strat but a very special one for me
Nothing beats young lust, its 1 in a million filla songs by pink floyd
abi yapıyosun bu sporu
I have to ask, what's the band in your picking hand for?
#1 pour moi😉👍

I've seen a show, I even shook Guy Pratt's hand.
I have a plan and a calendar, I'll get to some of them in the future
🎉
❤❤
Syd Barret got snuffed here, Insterstellar Overdrive could easily be among the top 5
Imagine do a top 10 pink floyd riffs and don't even mention wish you were here
I guess riffs are different than solos? I would put Time and Money solos as the top 2 of solos.
My 10th is RLH
You know, I debated adding RLH to the list, it should be on the list, but I couldn't bare to take off any on my list. Maybe I should've made an honorable mention.

Sheep 😎🐑😎🐑😎
Seems, have a cigar is not that way, a bit
It should have a phaser, but I think he’s doing a live version
No 1 should be solo 2 Comfortably Numb…….
that's not a riff, that's not even a lick, that's an epic journey
@@mustyguitar LMAO very true… It’s beautiful though, as is solo1.
