Here's Roland Dyens performing two of his pieces ("Alba Nera" & "El Ultimo Recuerdo") from "Les 100 de Roland Dyens" on a 1969 Daniel Friederich classical guitar made with spruce for the soundboard and CSA rosewood for the back and sides. Recorded LIVE at the Guitar Salon International showroom in Santa Monica, CA.

Sans doute sa plus belle interprétation d’Alba Nera sur une guitare exceptionnelle. Le seul accord à vers 4:30 est suffisamment éloquent pour résumer la qualité de cet instrument d’exception. Roland, tu nous manques trop.

These really are homages to Barrios and Tarrega... they really capture that haunting and melancholy, spanish/arabian melody and feel... fantastic.. and then so avant garde at the end... xD nice.

Alba nera was dedicated to Albert Lahiani. And was composed by Roland dyens after his passing.

Alba Nera sounds like a companion piece to Songe Capricorne
A última lembrança é a peca em tremolo que na minha opinião pelo menos, merece o título de último tremolo.
Existe uma peça com esse nome, que pertence ao Barrios também é conhecida como "Una limosna por amor de dios", Dyens juntou os dois nomes de duas peças muito populares como "Recuerdos de la Alhambra" e "El ultimo tremolo", criando assim "El ultimo recuerdo" como uma homenagem ao dois mestres, Barrios e Tárrega.

Je me demande à quel point votre technique serait bonne si vous étiez dans le même état que Mr Dyens lors de ces dernières performances
Un peu de respect est de mise pour un vieux maestro partageant ses dernières performances avec nous
