- Here's my overdramatic video of me learning how to tre flip in one day. I used to skate a ton about 8 years ago and the one trick I was never able to land was a 360 flip. So I went on the board again and attempted learning it in one day. This was a true challenge! Thanks for watching!

I´ve been skating for 6 year and still can´t 360 flip hahaha. I have landed few times but for some reason I don´t feel comfortable or natural doing this trick and I never practice it. Every time I try it takes me like 40 tries to land one with no full rotation and tic tac. congratulations, you did it better than me in 1 day!!

I skated for about 10 years (12-22) and could do a ton of tricks but would RARELY land a 360 flip. And when i did it was sketchy af. Im 35 now and just stepped on my sons board yesterday and landed three 360 flips in a row after not skating for 13 years and not really ever being able to do them. No f'in clue how i did them 🤷♂️

@@SkatingwithAaron yeah bro normally when i go down hill i put my foot out to slow down but this time my toes hooked in and bent back it happened super fast and i could tell my ankle was broke by the way it was dangling they gave me surgery and put screws in my foot so now like i can feel the screws through the outside of my ankle
@@outerworld100 Wow! That's rough! I don't mess with cruising downhill anymore. Have heard way too many horror stories! So sorry that happened! My wife has screws in her ankle but that's from a car wreck. Anytime a storm system is coming through her ankle starts to hurt from the metal in it. Super weird but she's more reliable than the weather channel. lol

Honestly, I keep hearing the same about the kickflip and how it is 'hard' to flip it all the way. But it's actually not that hard to get it to rotate. The hard part is staying above the board when it does and making sure you don't flick down and also retract your legs far enough so you can land on it. Honestly, I can make my board flick two times around (double kickflip style I guess), but haven't mastered landing nor mastered the 'proper flick' yet, going more through the nose of the side, whilst connected when sliding up the board. It may be weird to say, but stuff like pressure flips and potentially the three shoves and tre flip might actually be easier to do as the front foot flick is either not there at all or is so minimal it needs only a tiny flick to get going. Maybe I'm being weird saying this, but what if the hardest part about a tre flip is nailing the timing and commitment to just jump high and far enough? I've got a feeling an accidental tre flip landing is a bit more likely than the 'first ever kickflip'. Not knocking the effort put in for this particular video. Just thinking about how the scooping part is _actually_ pretty easy. Is it impossible to go from pop shove it to 360 shove it to tre flip?

If you’re back into it because of fashion then I agree you’re in it for the wrong reason! I got back in recently after roughly 20yrs off because I want to teach my son, and realized how much I missed it!

took me 2 weeks to learn them but I put a lot of hours in and even broke my foot in the processes when rolling my ankle, but I got it on camera (on my channel actually) and never landed one since hahaha, I really would like to get back into skating now after watching this

so damn sick dude! I learned a Heelflip 1 day and i did out of nowwhere firsttry a 36flip after my first heelflip! That was the best Day in my skateboardingprogression ! Now im in love with treflips and im so clean at it! I skate for 6-7 Years and im still proud after every trick i land
Bro i had to paused at :22 , same situation , skated thru middle school and a bit of high school then I stopped. Now 27 trynna get back to flipping tricks. I’ve been riding a cruiser around often so the feel of riding around is there but the flipping part, that I’ll update here in the near future.

you’re supposed to stay on the board for at least 3 seconds before getting off to prove you landed it good. regardless nice tre
