Dear Viva & Marion .. I've watched you homeschool your children almost from the time they were born. Best Parents EVER !!! .. SO, making it official is just YOU BOTH giving yourself's permission to be the awesome Sauce many Parents need in order to follow suit. Blessings & Continued Love and Support 😘😎 🐊🦎

You and Marion have so much to offer this dear boy who is so inquisitive, so full of wonder and amazement. He is like a giant sponge that cannot learn fast enough. There will be no limit to what he can accomplish!!😊

What county are you in? I just moved to Florida 5 years ago I love the outdoors and all the wildlife. I’m on the edge of Ocala National Forest. Have you visited Lake Apopka wildlife drive? Can’t fish on the drive but places you can park then walk a few minutes to fish. Many different fish species to catch if you can keep the gar from getting hooked first.

great job dad! I remember taking my then 4 yr old son to the playground - playing archeologists in the sand pit digging up "dinosaur bones" (sticks and rocks)... all parents but me were sitting on the benches thankful for their 30 min reprieve from parenting, but there we were... and within 10 min we had every kid on that playground over in the pit with us, being archaeologists together. Well, it turned into a gender differences lesson because the girls all decided playing in the sand was for making cakes and stirring things up while the boys and I kept digging. Those were some of the most precious childhood moments - he's 31 now, and we still have a rich life of sharing knowledge and natural wonders. BTW he's also an Eagle Scout, and was an elected union official by the age of 25. That's my boy. If you show him how to make a potato canon, you'll be bonded for life.

You should go on an adventure with him to find fossils. I have seen YT videos of guys finding megaladon teeth, wolly mammoth teeth, bones and more.

I "flushed" my system a couple years ago, wound up spending the evening in the ER. I was sick at work with a cold one day and drank about 3 gallons of water.

Tell your son not to squat down near the water… he is small enough in that position to look like food to a gator. I caught a gator moving in fast on my son at the waters edge in Myakka when he was maybe nine

Viva is out of his element. When he first arrived in Florida he went jogging during a thunderstorm. People had to tell him Florida was the capital of lightning strikes. He needs homeschooled on Florida.

He’s probably more likely to die in a car accident on the way there. Not saying it can’t or doesn’t happen just that they are no where near as aggressive and dangerous as people think they are.
Countless people swim, ski, tube, paddle board, snorkel, jet ski and fish the shoreline of these animals and never have an issue. The proliferation of video cameras in every persons pocket and social media basically took our once very limited localized information bubble and enlarged it to include the entire planet.
Social media/News would have me believe that the world is totally out of control and about to collapse into chaos any moment.
However if I were to base my opinion of the state of things based off my daily life and conversations with people. Things are pretty much just fine. People I meet and interact with are generally kind and friendly. I’ve not experienced any crime in my area, south/central Florida. With the exception of inflation and gas prices things are pretty good.
I realize it’s not like that every where, but the majority of serious problems are dense larger cities. Although I recently visited Detroit, Dallas and San Diego with no problems. Wouldn’t want to stay permanently.
