It's still very much in pre-production phase, but I'll be presenting the paper at the end of next year's semester, so I'll have stuff to show probably sooner than later. It won't come out as a full fledged demo because I'm just a graphic design student, but my boyfriend is doing the programming, so we hope to *one day* release *something* haha

Yes game design document will help you in multiple ways: - human memory isn't trustworthy so making notes early is a good move so u can always refer to the document to see what you are working on - it makes it easier to focus on elements that are needed & avoid things that aren't (i highly suggest to look for video about "overscoping" - you will do it anyway at some point surely - most of gamedevs will do that and have to learn hard way - but i feel like the "damage" isn't as bad if you at least attempted to avoid that) - in case you get help with art and/or coding GDD makes it easy to communicate what the goal is etc etc etc - there are other benefits too but unless i missed something obvious i think those are about the top 3 biggest benefits

AaAAAH! I was so happy when I saw that you uploaded another vid! This was another great one! I really like the new artstyle so don’t worry about having to change it, sometimes during the process things like that happen lol, especially when you start to think about how others will perceive it and I do think it has better like readability so no worries. But yeah, the coding part was a bit confusing cuz I ain’t a coder lol (dropped IT in high school😭) but it was also super interesting, I definitely learnt a lot. Thanks for showing the process! Only complaint i have about this video is some music choices (for example the song playing around 2-minute mark has vocals which made listening to your voice bit harder). I love watching you develop this game from scratch. It would be really neat if the kitchen/cooking aspect of the game you talked about previously could be integrated with the cat grooming you mentioned in a sort of cat cafe management sort of gameplay - making the dishes, taking care of the cats, cleaning the cafe, upgrading pieces etc. Lola and 'the mean girl' could run the cafe together with problems in the cafe creating friction between the two. All in all I'm really looking forward to watching continue to develop this game and even more excited to play it (even tho its so early in development)!! -p.s what art program do you use?

I can’t wait to see the other girls you design, as for the mean girl’s name, how about Rebecca but like her nickname is Becky or something idk. I’m so interested to see how the story will turn out! Awesome video! I can't wait for 1-2 more years to see you cooking youtube, gamedev and altho u are already quite skilled i can't wait to see even more improved art! Only complaint i have about this video is some music choices (for example the song playing around 2-minute mark has vocals which made listening to your voice bit harder). But overall i already see talent in making. The game might not be for me cuz of the genre and am not the target audience - but i see a lot in common with my sideproject so i have eyes out on your devlogs. Big respect!

I love watching you develop this game from scratch. It would be really neat if the kitchen/cooking aspect of the game you talked about previously could be integrated with the cat grooming you mentioned in a sort of cat cafe management sort of gameplay - making the dishes, taking care of the cats, cleaning the cafe, upgrading pieces etc. Lola and 'the mean girl' could run the cafe together with problems in the cafe creating friction between the two. All in all I'm really looking forward to watching continue to develop this game and even more excited to play it (even tho its so early in development)!!
