You and your sister are awesome! Great videos and good to see you cleaning up others shit, respect, It's never good seeing litter in such beautiful places.
She's elegant as a gazelle as she jumps around in the wilderness! Wish I had an athletic sister like that! When you do the drone drop - you should get a bit closer to the ground. But all in good time, don't risk your drone.
Haha yeah I know, still learning the limitations of the controls and the responsiveness. Don’t want to accidentally smash straight into the ground because I wasn’t familiar enough with the quad.
@@StephenJReid Yeah I know. Sometimes watch Potato Jet do all the crazy things with his drone and it looks sooo easy. But I know there are a lot of crashed cheap drones behind it all.
I may have found a solution. There is a case on Aliexpress which covers the lens and the gimbal. But it has 3 position for closing it, so you can fit a thick silicone cover in it too. That should work of I use it with the wind muffs. I like having the ambient sounds in my videos sometimes that's why I am looking to rig this up.
I stuffed it all into my standard photo backpack by rearranging the camera cube. Used socks to add padding between everything. Unfortunately that backpack has been discontinued now.
Great Video Stephen looks like a good hike love the drone footage now for Fair Head 😉 as for the littering so very true winds me right up!! Ps new Rev Race Trousers??
Love it, we haven't done Bearnagh yet but been up to the saddle at Hares Gap with the kids, so Hares Gap then right is Bearnagh whats up the left side? Also great dive with the fpv, i had a cut out second time i flew mine it's quite scary but great when the picture comes back.
@@StephenJReid I've came to the conclusion that I'm just awful in manual, i think I've around 8 hours on the sim and can still barely fly straight let alone hit a gap or do a dive so I can't see me ever getting to the stage where I can do it for real competently, who knows maybe it'll click one day, but flying in a panic isn't what I want to do so I'm sticking with the motion controller and standard controller in sports mode for the foreseeable, the motion controller is just fantastic for me, so much fun, think I'll practice a dive with it in sim.
@@StephenJReid yes, I intend to always have both but I just don’t like the look of the GoPro in anything but sunlight. The Pocket 2 is great on even a dim cloudy day.
You are the main man with all those adverts Stephen! If Naomi is still available I have 2 sons one 35 and one 26. Good lads, ..........just saying! lol Great day, great views!
Ur sis is bck, yipee. Lovin the drone footage. U got agreat day. You mustin of been far from the actually secret waterfall. Gonna head for it nxt time and down to were you camped at foot of dam.
Don't know if it's great editing or your fpv skills are getting better, looked so much smoother than the ben crom fpv footage. Cant believe that crisp packet was still there.
Does my head in! On fasting, still experimenting so not something I’d promote until I see what happens. Been trying a Monday-Friday 20/4 fast. Then eating how I feel in evenings and weekends. So far I’ve lost 1.5kg over 4 weeks, which is pretty terrible 😂
@@StephenJReid I understand on both accounts. I have stayed away from the topic on my channel too, but for different reasons. As for the weight loss, don't get to down on yourself. One month is a small chunk of time, and since you are only doing 5 days your body is prob struggling to adjust. Stick with it man, you're doing great.
I hope the abundance of crisp packets are accidental stupidity (such as the wind getting hold of it), rather than the intentional stupidity of littering.
Thanks for the shout out Stephen! Lovely meeting you both. And well done Naomi, Bearnagh is a great climb, you’ll be hooked 😉
Great to meet you Donna! 🙂 I reckon Naomi will be back
Your sister is as lovely as yourself, that also goes for Louise 😘
I was thinking Louise the exact moment before you popped up the overlay of Tina. I laughed so hard. Just love it when you have your sister on.
😂 Naomi has been making those grumbling noises for years
"take it home", good words to live by. Nice hike and video, thanks.
Thanks Steve! 🙂
Wow, that place is beautiful, I want to go! I enjoy your videos with Naomi, it's entertaining watching the two of you make fun of each other!
😂 Perfect place for sibling fighting in the mountains
You and your sister are awesome! Great videos and good to see you cleaning up others shit, respect, It's never good seeing litter in such beautiful places.
Thanks! Sadly littering has gotten much worse in the last year. But I guess it’s good to see more people enjoying the outdoors

Haha yeah, with the size of his channel he can probably afford to smash a few 🤣
@@StephenJReid remember you need to crash it twice to make the insurance worth while ;)
"Whinging creates adrenaline" LOL What a cool dive with the drone !
Thanks Derek!
Well said Stephen about the trash. I hate seeing trash in the wilderness. Great video as always! And tell Naomi to keep up hiking! She's good at it!
Thanks! And will do, I’ll have to drag Naomi up a range of peaks this year 😂
Another great video. You‘ve really wet my appetite to have a hiking holiday in NI as soon as Corona allows 👍🏼
Thanks Neil! Hopefully soon 🙂
Great video really enjoyed watching 👍👍👍👍
Beautiful place..enjoy your day..Have a great day sir
Thanks Ajay!
@@StephenJReid 😃
Amazing mountain, great video!
Thanks Adrien! 🙂
Did you put any wind muffs on your pocket 2? I was thinking if doing it like you did on the go pro. Let me know if it makes sense.
Thought about it, but doesn’t fit in the case afterwards. Best bet is to use the wireless mic with the windshield.

@@AbubakrKhan67 interesting! Do you have a link?
I have replied to you on your Instagram. I think youtube won't let me posts links here.
Good view up slieve bearnagh, when i was up i could not get drone up because the wind was wild.😪
Yeah I think I’ve only been able to fly up there about 50% of the times I climbed it.
how did you hike with the drone? Any backpack recommendations?
I stuffed it all into my standard photo backpack by rearranging the camera cube. Used socks to add padding between everything. Unfortunately that backpack has been discontinued now.
Great wee video Stephen.. makes me want to go to the Mournes everyday...lol. Thanks for sharing (this is also whileonourtravels) 😁
Thanks Winston 🙂 Sometimes places are more special when you don’t visit so often.
What a stunning view from the top man....
Thanks John, it's incredible up there. One of my favourite views.
@@StephenJReid I can see why.

Haha, fair head would definitely be a good one. No chance of recovery though
If I mess up 😱
Yeah Rev Race, had them a while
Worth it one day though 🤣
Nice I have some coming this week from them 👍🏼@@StephenJReid
Great video - and I like your message at the end.

Yup, right is Bearnagh, left is either the Brandy Pad(lower) or up Slievenaglogh, Corragh, Commedagh towards Donard
Cut outs are terrifying! Happened me a couple time in the mountains, easily to fly too much around a summit.
@@StephenJReid you think it's possible to do a dive with motion controller?
Hmmm yeah you can sorta, not vertically, but can kinda dive with it

Damn that Pocket 2 is great for this. Just got one this week and I’m amazed.
Yeah it’s great for dry day hikes! I’m still paranoid of it raining so usually have the GoPro in somewhere too

Combination of getting better at the controls, less wind & also using smoother rates for the controls, didn't use any post stabilisation for this.
Thank you for cleaning up the trail Stephen, I have no idea why people still litter. It is ridiculous! Side note, how are you doing with the fasting?
