3:24 is one of the greatest moments in metal ever. It makes me wonder how could these guys do some of the finest music in the genre. Whenever i'm walking in the street on my way to work and listening to this part of the song I start headbanging like crazy.

This was the first band that got me into so called ''Thrash metal'' with the Arise album 20 year ago they seemed to stand out from other thrash bands in much the same way cypress hill stands out from other hip hop bands. its the cream of the crop.
"Beneath the Remains" and "Chaos AD" are my all time fave Sepultura albums. Fucking agression...with a purpose!
Igor Cavalera is such an underrated drummer and he can kick the ass of MANY thrash drummers

they were translating the lyrics to the song called ":dancing on your grave" by motorhead, and this is how they came up with the band name. but "sepultura" just means "grave", its not the whole phrase.

@secon I know that sort of thing. I had a couple of neighbours at my dorm: a brazilian and a venezuelen girl. They wore pretty smart clothes and all that. Then at one of the brazilian girl's parties, out came the Sepultura. Both South Americans were totally into Sepultura, despite their "office dress"!
Got em tattoed on my leg, they have been my favourite band for 18 years and im so fuckin glad i could se Max front row and his brother 2 years ago.
I love their music and i will probably put up another tattoo with them some day :)

Damn right my friend, he is a great drummer and he shows on "Arise". Even though I don't own "Arise" or "Beneath The Remains", I've heard his playing on songs like Mass Hypnosis, Inner Self, Arise, Desperate Cry etc. and he really nailed them!
in the movie reality bites this video is shown on a t.v. playing, I was kinda surprised, didn't think they'd rep Sepultura like that.
