Glad Linda and Patrick were with him in the end. Amazing they were all good friends for so long. Seems everyone on the show respected each other. It shows. Thank you Larry & cast for giving us Dallas! Glad you had your wish of playing J.R. once again! RIP Larry!

One thing I have always admired about Dallas and the cast is not one actress or actor badmouthed another actress or actor from that show. Nor were there any accusations leveled against one another

Larry was the one who gave Linda the way to become producer in one of dallas episode. The studio initially refused Linda's proposal to direct/produce one of the episode. Larry stood behind her back and helped her by lobbying the studio. They were true friends. Helped each other and reliable in any time.

Larry hangman and Patrick Duffy will always be my TV stars, as a child I would sit down with coffee at 10am south african morning time watching Dallas, that was in 2006, now I'm 35 in 2024, it broke me to bits to hear my favorite oil magnate and cowboy rolemodrl died in real life, he's role as Jr Ewing glued me for he was one bad ass, sneaky, business man and cowboy, he knew how to get out of a situation, he knew how to get rid of competition. He was the action figure of Dallas, RIP Larry hagman (Jr Ewing)

I miss him so much. I loved him as an actor; from Anthony Nelson on I Dream Of Genie, to JR Ewing on Dallas. I am SO HAPPY that I got the chance to see this man in his art for over 30yrs. These young people aren’t as lucky as we are who lived to see Larry Hagman at his peak. I can say that I LIVED during the time of Larry Hagman. Rest in Eternal Love Larry Hagman

Pam and Kristin were the ones that did it for me 😍🥰😘, but I believe her beauty was in how she grew with the series from being one of the most stuck up and emotionally pathetic to one of the strongest, able to fight JR as an equal. Also, what a gorgeous set of legs 😘😍.

Larry Hangman portrayed J.R. Ewing as a consumate villain who know what he wanted, he took his losses in stride and STILL got it back and more in the end, as Mr Spock's greeting said, he lived long and prospered

I remember him in some of my favorite shows growing up... I had such a crush on Major Nelson and then later I loved to hate J.R. and yes, I waited on tender-hooks to find out who had shot him like everybody else.
But what always got to me was when he was in interviews, he was always so much more worthy of love and crushing on... What a beautiful soul and spirit he was. R.I.P. Mr.Hagman, you will be missed.

No one puts the screws to old JR and gets away with it. Like he once said :
"I dont have ulcers, i give them".
God forbid if he ever saw you as a threat you were fucked for life.
RIP mr Hagman, your talent onscreen as the person everyone loved to hate as well as your famous grin that signaled somebody's life was about to be screwed, will be sorely missed.

i gotta echo what many of you said...i watched as a kid...being born 2 years before it started.
then, as a college linebacker, i'd rush back from workouts to watch the re-runs on TNN...and JR was the main reason.
great actor, and apparently a great guy.
