Guys, If you want to eliminate a significant amount of cabin noise you should use Dynamat on the floor of the drivers cabin and on the interior of the engine doghouse. It's a very good product and is simple to apply. The price is a little pricey but thats because it works.

Thanks for the suggestion. We actually added two layers of sound deadening material under the carpet in the cab and inside the doghouse. It definitely helped a lot! But when the bulk of your engine's literally in between your seats, you have to deal with a bit of noise 😅

❤️ I think Dallas is one of the biggest reasons we didn't totally lose our minds during the RV renovation. No matter how frustrated or angry we got, he was always there with a sweet hug or a squeal of excitement to lift our spirits. Glad we could share the little sweetie with you guys 😊

I remember what it was like when my wife and I moved into this motorhome, it took seven hours to move from one motorhome to this one and they were side by side. Ok, that was over 17 years ago. Boondocking about 90% of the time.

I have a 1992 GMC Vandura and it's in good shape. I appreciate all you are doing for you vintage camper. Gives me ideas. I love that I don't have computerized stuff. Lol
Campers and boats share a common attribute... The projects never end. Just when you think they are and settle back, you will think of something new, remember something you meant to do, or something breaks. We haven't found a sign for the camper, but our previous boat has a plaque in it that said: "Hole in the water you throw money into".

No, you don't. You pry the other side of the cap. Bring the bottle up to the opener essentially vertical, then pull the bottom up and toward you.

For the bottle opener, instead of a container to catch the caps, consider using a large magnet under the opener. Or maybe a magnetic sheet, but not sure if it will be strong enough to catch the caps.

Sometimes we scroll back through old photos and see pictures of when we first started the renovation and a wave of pure dread rolls over us thinking about all the things we had to build/fix. Needless to say, we're both very, very happy she's finally all finished and back out on the road 😁

Tip for the bottle opener, i glued a neodium magnet under it. Its alto smaller then a box and catches alot of caps!
Out of all the mods I've done to my rv being able to park and open the patio/ window awnings is the most rewarding which I highly recommend summer is coming!

Those rodents love those areas: blower motors for both cab and furnace units!! The smell can be defined as Disco Mouse that blows around in your RV..

Oh my goodness, your nephew is adorable! Reminds me so much of my two year old grandson. Our grandbaby loves our 1998 Class A RV and always wants to be with us in it. We are also full time for the past 6 years and we love it!

Great vlog, and on the road again!
Tip: my old suv had 2 rodent nest under the front hood. After twice cleaning out it, I'd pressure washed area, then stuck some velcro pieces, attached a lavender sentence cedar then board (I cut it to size). It was secured.. No more rodent nests.
