I'm just a guy from Australia. I dont watch much nfl but I like it, Great game. I did however see a show called A Football Life. one episode was on Kevin Greene, what a man and what a player. I was really saddened to hear he passed away, The best always leave to early. Much love to his wife and family.
Kevin Greene was the most 90’s player I’ve ever seen. Looked like he came right out of WWF/WCW. An unfortunate casualty of the Free Agency boom that gutted the 90’s Steelers. Every year the Steelers we’re losing somebody crucial. Gone way too soon. R.I.P Kevin.
The NFL and Nike completely screwed up the 100th season not bringing back retros as done with the 75th season. Hopefully the Steelers bring these back or either the 60s solid yellow should pad jerseys or White w/ yellow/black sleeves for their 100th season.
Co-founder of Blitzburgh with that great 90's linebacker corp and just one of the all time greats even as a coach and I'm sure as friend R.I.P 🙏#91 forever a Steel City legend
Thanks for the memories, that season I lived to see them play, I even failed my professional exam because my mind was only on the Sunday they played, Kevin, may God have you by his side, one of the best players of all time !!!
Man he was great at knocking them big tackles right at the moment they are off balance. He was something special. Most sack by an outside backer says it best.
i met Mr. Greene @ Chryslers @ Carlisle in PA, Car Show. he shook my hand, my hand looked like a little 13 year old girls, i'm not a little guy. Rest In Power my friend.
Wow, that was a truly sensational job at bringing back some of the great moments of that '94 season - thank you! Love Kevin Greene - he was the man and miss his game, and miss him just as a dude.
Fantastic video. If you go player for player, no team tops the 94 Steelers for linebackers. Greene, Kirkland, Brown, Lloyd, and the rotational 5th linebacker was Jason Gildon.
Loved the way he played the fumble recovery he had could've been an easy 6 points bit wanted to make sure he got the ball and falls on it along with the chance to intercept the ball and maybe getting another pick 6 on the Oilers but focused and hit sticking the reciever in case he did catch it

Even more remarkable is he did have a run in WCW as a wrestler back in 97-98 lol
Loved watching him and Greg Lloyd play #AmazingSteelers
I miss him man! Hell of a guy, and one hell of a ball player!!!
Love the old 75th anniversary jerseys

They, Levon Kirkland and Chad Brown brought back the Steel Curtain

A good player and a nice guy
Rest in peace KEVIN GREENE 💛
Here we go STEELER NATION 💛
Yeah he lifted up that guy after laying down a shot on him at 3:40. Most other guys would just walk away
Great player. Hall of Famer.
I truly believe Greene loved playing with the STEELERS the most.
We love our Defense here in Pittsburgh.

When I think of the 90s defense, I think Kevin Greene. I can't believe I didn't remember him leaving in 96

One of our several OOPS of free agency in the 90's....
We will miss you Kevin
Love it thanks for putting this together.
I can imagine how other teams QBs felt when they knew they had to face those guys.
R.I.P.🖤💛🖤💛🖤💛
Didn't know KG passed:/ he along with Greg Lloyd, Kirkland and young Chad Brown. sheeeesh.
I remember the disappoint when he left. Greene went on to have 52 sacks in 4 years after the Steelers let him walk. Damn shame he had to go.
Love your videos. Go Steelers!!

Oh man, I remember that ugly ass throwback jersey. (From 1994, not 1933). LOL
Cody Carlson should have benched himself.
