One quick correction. The Pepsi gunship battle group received 5 damage and therefore would have lost a ship and 1 damage would have carried over to the last ship in the battle group.
That's what I thought, but I'm not that familiar with the rules.

However as the gun ship did a 180 turn it would not have been able to fire with its primary weapon . So at most it could have done is 4 damage.
@ 29:45 I use power to inertial dampeners which allows ships to fire primary weapons even if you rotate more than 90.
Sorry i missed that, I had a kid screaming in my ear and the sound level on the video was low.
Apart from that it was a great video, very good at explaining the game.

Thumb's up for a new spaceship game and for using the term "primer". Kicking myself for getting rid of my old Kra'vak fleet for Full Thrust but glad I still have my Eldar (still have the craftworld stuff in blisters) and Necrons from Battlefleet Gothic, a bunch of old stuff from Spacefleet and a small Soryllian force from Firestorm Armada.
I like the command tokens, scaling rules (easy to hit a big ship and harder to hit small ship but they'll get pasted easy) and the corporate-war theme (hey Demolition Man...all restaurants are Taco Bell).
