Seeing Gundam pilots argue with Gendo about humanity is honestly wild.
Basically, this is what happens when you give Shinji good therapy and a really good support group.
Super Robot Wars Alpha 3 made Rebuild of Evangelion 2 years before the first movie, 16 years before the last movie.
And oddly enough better
While I was watching 3.0+1.0, I remember thinking during certain parts near the end "Oh hey, this is like what they did for Alpha 3!" especially the Gendo stuff, and it looks like I was right, going by this translation!

Yeah, they have 3 games (well, 4 but the cast of Alpha Gaiden ain't returning after Alpha Gaiden) to build their troops and most of their troops consist of Super Robot capable to throw around something that is basically nuke to Reality bending robot that can send you to the beginning of time and other bullshit that Ideon can do
Z trilogy casts (Z-Blue as of the lates incarnation) are either comparable or even Surpass the Alpha Numbers purely because all of the Protagonist is a Sphere user along with the licensed casts own bullshir robot (Looking at you, Aquarion, Shin Dragon and Shin Getter Robo, Rebuild!Eva-01 and others)

SRW (almost) always improve the storylines they include, examples are:
- Giving the Black Knights the chance to trust Lelouch, unlocking a better ending that sadly, is not canon.
- Making Shinn the actual protagonist of SEED destiny.
- Punishing Karma Houdinis, like Kusakabe of Nadesico or Katejina Loos.
- Keeping Char as an ally after Gundam Z.
And some more that are spoilers.
I actually like that Shinn gets more focus in SRW games than Kira jesus Yamato and even athrun, thats why I like the games version of the SEED characters better, they are utilized so much better in the stories
@@ExtraordinaryJam I mean L went further to rewrite half of the plot. You can also save most of the Seed Destiny's cast with sometimes 1 stage requirement. Like unlocking Yazak and Deraka if you fulfill the condition of Stage 7 in a few turns (keeping the METEOR's bay safe from the the enemy until reinforcement arrives), or recruit Stella by fighting her once with Kira and convince her with Shinn before deliver the final blow. Stella will be safe regardless of you actions. Or Ray you need to convince him with Shinn.
Or in UX make Shinn sort like a mentor for the Fafner cast.
Or make a reduce number of SEED's cast in V in order to make them the mentors for the Normas from Cross Ange (since there is a lot of paralelism with SEED, starting by both sharing the same anime director).
-Saving waifus like Four and Stella.

39:36 in the game, the enemy boss (yes, that EVA 01) supposed defeat in 5 minutes mean 5 turns. There must be alternate dialogue where the player attempt to failed the mission.

So I’m trying to understand, in the Sea of LcL, which is like a dreamscape, Gendo took the form of Eva 01
Alpha 3 on english oh joy, also dont know how many eva series are there but is funny since they got the means to delete them, aka IDEON thats or the battle 7 macross cannon might do it to avoid them from regenerating
Fun Fact: you can unlock the Eva 01 F Type after this stage if conditions are meet.

Lo que es aún más curioso es que el remake de Dreamcast, en su ruta exclusiva de NERV incluía 2 escenarios a mayores con prácticamente el mismo plot que veríamos años después en estos escenarios del alpha 3.

@@Vacxy Mission 49 is an adaptation of Evangelion episode 24 and mission 53 is an adaptation of the End of Evangelion
It may not translate the whole event, but I think I can do a small part of chapter 53.

This is the SRW with EVA katanas and spacial changes. Levitate is pretty easy considering all that.

It is for sure a Minovsky Craft, you can equip it to units that can't fly. Pretty useful if you want a specific squad and only one of them can't fly.

What a plot has this game, and too many coincidences with 3.0+1.0 as you say
The basics of the plot is that there is a large race of invaders (the bad guys from Gunbuster ovas) that are destroying all life in the galaxy, and several organizations on the planet are looking for ways to prevent the apocalypse, the problem is that none of them fight together more than the protagonists. NERV proposes that if instrumentalization works and humanity moves to a new existential plane, humanity will be able to survive extinction. I wanted to work on this project, or at least in the climax episodes but it's too long.
Where can i download the game? I want to play it in android with an emulator, but i can't find an iso.
