Did I really just see that?" But was thinking of Mike AFTER he stopped fighting and BEFORE the wrong people found out that his small appearances in whatever is actually really drawing some impressive and positive feedback. Mike is actually a very sensitive, and kind soul. He shows respect to good people. I comped his breakfast, at the restaurant I ran. He asked me to sit and have breakfast with him, and it was as we known each other for years. He was engaged in the conversation with a complete stranger. You rock Mike Tyson. ✊
But sometimes this world puts us jnto rough places and we have to adopt and being sensitive in the first place makes it even harder and oftentimes the journey towards the other direction gets pushed by that.

Seriously one of the most interesting human beings alive. His career in boxing, the amount of pain, loss and suffering he’s been dealt. The path he has taken to get some inner peace. He is seriously like a living yin yang. Volatile and potentially violent as a killer, but peaceful and kind to those that just want to hear him. The dude is absolutely fascinating, and will forever be on my Mount Rushmore of athletes.

Let me tell you something I had the privilege of meeting Mike Tyson. He is very humble now but he is not to be played with. He got pissed off because while we were taking a picture together someone got in the way. I’m glad that I met one of my favorite boxers of all time.

When i was a kid i loved Mike. Still do. But whenever he spoke I assumed he wasn’t that smart because of how he talked, mispronounced words or said some stuff completely outta pocket. Wasn’t until i was a grown man that I realized he’s one of the most honest, wisest knowledgeable men ive ever seen.
Super facts. I guess the PR wasn’t that good and the media wanted him seen in a certain light early on obviously for the sake of his career but that stigma stuck. Mikes very unique. He’s raw emotion at all times. Pure anger,sadness and pure love and everything in between.He doesn’t wear a mask like the rest of us and is really a beautiful human being.

My name is Shawn and i was a huge Evander Holyfield fan growing up and i told anyone who would listen that Holyfield would beat Tyson! Most people laughed but i was proven correct!! Those same people who laughed, said how did u know that. My answer was simple, because Holyfield was not afraid of Mike and Mike knew it!!! It stripped Tyson of his intimidation which was his greatest asset... Tyson was a great fighter with a great skill set don't get me wrong but he was more beatable than people realized!!! Anyway my point was to say i couldn't stand Tyson growing up but i must say i have become a fan of his, he truly changed his life for the better and is a likable guy!!! Can't help but cringe at reporters misunderstanding Mike's answers and personality. He isn't fake he'll give the first thing to come to mind or a hard thought out answer straight from the heart. Interviewers stereotype Tyson thinking he’s just a lump of meat with no brains attached. They don’t give a f about what he went through when he lost his daughter. Tyson is very much a man of his heart, driven by emotion, pain or joy he lives it out fully. He’s the greatest heavyweight boxer for me, I always like watching his fights the energy and ferocity is unmatched to this day.
He went through much more than losing his daughter. He lost a lot of people close to him at the peak of his prime. And was still expected to perform at the highest level. Most People just looked at him like an animal in a cage at a zoo who isn’t supposed to be pissed that he’s in that cage being looked at by millions of people. He’s supposed to just take it and be happy and just show what he can do. Nobody ever stoped to realize he’s a human being with feelings and emotion.

People continue to want Tyson to be someone who he’s not. Most people will go on a talk show and know to be light-hearted and charismatic for the audience. Tyson is diagnosed bi-polar and had a rough childhood. He’s a very literal guy and almost incapable of being sarcastic. He’s like Drax. That’s what makes him so intimidating. He’s not a joker, so if you joke around with him, he likely won’t follow and could take it the wrong way.

Interviewers stereotype Tyson thinking he’s just a lump of meat with no brains attached. They don’t give a f about what he went through when he lost his daughter. Tyson is very much a man of his heart, driven by emotion, pain or joy he lives it out fully. He’s the greatest heavyweight boxer for me, I always like watching his fights the energy and ferocity is unmatched to this day.
He went through much more than losing his daughter. He lost a lot of people close to him at the peak of his prime. And was still expected to perform at the highest level. Most People just looked at him like an animal in a cage at a zoo who isn’t supposed to be pissed that he’s in that cage being looked at by millions of people. He’s supposed to just take it and be happy and just show what he can do. Nobody ever stoped to realize he’s a human being with feelings and emotion.

People continue to want Tyson to be someone who he’s not. Most people will go on a talk show and know to be light-hearted and charismatic for the audience. Tyson is diagnosed bi-polar and had a rough childhood. He’s a very literal guy and almost incapable of being sarcastic. He’s like Drax. That’s what makes him so intimidating. He’s not a joker, so if you joke around with him, he likely won’t follow and could take it the wrong way.
Why does Tyson seem like the most logical, honest guy in the room, everywhere he goes? Dig that guy.
