Was the frazzle-cannon not giving +1/+1 to the Ichor Shade a game engine bug? Or does the "you" in the cannon's text refer to the owner of the card and not the controller? Been playing for almost a decade but am a bit confused.
He didn't control the cannon, I think that's what is going on so the cannon triggered on the equipped creature (it specifies equipped creature gets a +1/+1 counter regardless) but the opponent didn't control the ichor shade so the secondary effect didn't happen
It's actually because the "you control" on the frazzle-cannon is about who controls the frazzle-canon otherwise equipment or spells usually say the creature gains "...." but in this case the ownership of the cannon didn't change.
At 1:26:15 the correct line is to probably block with the 3/4 ichor shade because you can discard the next draw to the flamewright for a guaranteed lethal on the next turn.
I love this deck, but I feel you might have been a little too cautious, which is not ideal given what these cards are meant to do. Would love to see more tho.

I'm a Rakdos player and this video hurts me to watch. How this deck so beautifully assembled can be played so poorly😢
