I’m too lazy to answer this myself but wouldn’t a card or two have rotated if they had kept the original rotation schedule? Regardless, absolutely bananas to include any one of those cards

I am struggling to understand this comment. Those cards are very strong for standard but they, along with a good amount of the cards in this deck, would have rotated out with the release of WOE, if the rotation schedule hadn’t been altered. They were not planned to be played with cards from WOE and on, so they were not really supposed to be legal in this deck beyond being legal in prior versions of this deck, which got them banned. Sure, you could argue that the new rotation would have left them in but WOTC did say they would ban cards that were problematic because of the altered rotation. This comment then just boils down to naming a bunch of strong cards that are not related to this version of the deck because they would not have been in it, ultimately just complaining about strong cards in Rakdos that have been banned. That’s like saying Cat/Oven would have been busted in this deck too if they made rotation even longer, but they were not planned to be played with these sets either.

Mephitic draught or tithing blade might be worth looking into. If you ignore the dino half of the card saheelis lattice is perfect for the deck as well.
Mephitic draught especially is key here. If you run sac removal like voltage surge you’ll always have a way to get rid of it, and there’s enough lifegain in the deck to balance out the loss. Keeps the curve smooth since you see way more cards. Better than Tarians journal in a lot of cases, since you can sac it without fear and keep your creatures (if you don’t have an anvil out the journal can end up sitting idle, esp since it only works at sorcery speed)
dude the domain deck game was insane. I gasped after they atraxa'd and they needed a binding to survive and they played a tapped land instead of the plains
Same problem why i have stopped rakdos anvil on Arena. Often shuffler will mana screw you again and again. When you are not mana screwed you are missing a red or black source so you can play nothing out
It is an Ojer combo deck, even looking at the build makes that clear, and Ob is great for devils for extra pings / sac fodder, which we didn't see once in the whole video. I think it should be played quite differently to how it was in the videos...
Rakdos Sacrifice is nice, but I also miss Rakdos disruption shenanigans. Rakdos would be so much more interesting in everything if it wasn't all just ping damage.
When he forgets about creatures getting exiled with the kamano I was like really how do you forget what meta you’ve been dealing with for the last few years lol it’s supposed to be your sworn enemy 😂 cheers bro that just made me yell at the video as you did it .We all make mistakes
To be fair I've also made that mistake at times mostly because that part of the card is rarely ever relevant to me. (I rarely play creatures permanents)
I can understand that but the card has been a must have in any red deck and he has made it clear how much he loathes it and for him to forget that just reached me like I said we all make mistakes cheers

That could be a really fun combo with Ojer. It might be a bit win-more though, if you're are able to stick an Ojer on the board and get that many Oni triggers you probably won anyways.

Everyone sleeping on Dimir Mill, the ancient one dumping the 7 mana attack and mill half your library artifact mills an additional 7. The adventure card that mills 4 then the creature is equal to no of creatures in graveyard. Jace doing his thing. Some removal, path of exile for board wipe, Rona's vortex to slow down the opponent. New Dimir mainland milling 4 per attack. It can mill or beatdown. Can mill yourself as well to get the endless one online. Invasion of amokat mills as well.

This is an amazing deck, just need to prioritize playing Ojer Axonil over Ob Nixilis.

nice deck but you should include the aura sticky fingers to help with mana and get more artifacts on field you can sac to the anvil

I made Mythic (from Diamond) in a day last month using a Rakdos deck entirely built around the sacrifice mechanic

If I am being completely honest, I greatly enjoy the death by 1000 cuts gameplay style. However arena does its best to make it unfun.
