I finally made these, these are seriously ridiculously delicious. Very very very close to the real thing...I didn't par bake the bread part, just pulled it out when it was pretty much done, and rolled it up in the parchment and let it cool rolled up (I'm lazy...it is what it is). Then spread the cinnamon sugar butter in it. Shes right in that doing it this way when you bite into it you get all that gooey flavor and don't notice the carrier bread is an egg bread.
Janet, I love that you're so excited about this recipe, texture and taste. Your new favorite! 🤗 The new introduction really brings your website to life. Very creative and feminine. Very lovely. So glad you took some time off to refuel!
I like your new intro, too. Cute. Carnivore Crys came out with a cinnamon roll recipe last night. Much like yours. She wrapped her roll in plastic wrap for awhile before cutting.
@@janetgreta Thank you so much! I got the cinnamon roll recipe off your blog, but can't find the bread recipe part of it. Im just really excited to make these 😁
Nice intro. You look fab and rested! A BIG YES to these. 2022 started well for me. Down 8 lbs. since Dec. 26. Most of what I gained between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Finally feel good again. I hope to not do that to my body again. Debauchery was not worth the literal pains! So let's keep the good times rollin...Nancy
OMG your face- I could see you eating another as soon as you stopped filming!! LOL. I am avoiding anything sugary for January bc I am trying to curb my sugar addiction. But they look amazing and would be great for special occasions-thank you for sharing!!!
I made these. They were not to my liking. Texture of the roll was papery. I probably did something wrong as I am kind of new to making PSMF bread. However.......I saw your video making bread pudding from the strawberry roll. I thought about using my cinnamon rolls to do the same. I put mine in a 4 in baking type dish, frosting and all, added the egg, liquid and some butterscotch chips. DELICIOUS. I would never have known it was made with PSMF "bread".
I figured it out for you, and it would be 10 total carbs for 1 cinnamon bun. It’s the artificial sweeteners that equal that high of a total carbs. 1 tsp of cinnamon is over 2 total carbs 😱😱😱
i think i might try it with just cinnamon. no sugar substitutes. i used to buy that kind of cinnamon roll in high school in the 70's and they were so delicious! and i will use whey protein powder. im going to just mix everything together too. no whipping the egg whites even. cause im lazy like that. i'll let y'all know how they turn out.
Lol... when I doubled recipe it overfilled my Kitchenaid mixer... was bummed because trying to be more efficient on food prep days. Awesome ya can triple recipe without space issue. 😆 🤣

Besides with the cost of groceries right now ... I know that I'll save some money by not buying the things I won't eat on low carb and save money making a lot of my own stuff... like chaffles in place of bread, and psmf - thinking buns for sandwiches and burgers ... and I may do that roll up idea - thinking like pizza roll up or hamburger roll ups ... .. that way I don't have to worry about the loaf falling.. which yes I could make Wendy's Power Flour but the roll up idea is perfect ... so many ideas ...
