Walkabout Mini Golf is a top 10 VR game on any platform imo. It's surprising just how good that game is.

How long did you battle it. Took me like 2 weeks. And a good friend of mine isnt over it yet after playing 2 weeks.

@@DutchHeavyw8 takes me like a month. It's different in the same way that some people get car sick and some don't. It kinda sucks tbh but maybe it'll get better with each model.
@@DutchHeavyw8I found that after putting myself through a few longer sessions, it slowly died down. Less about how throwing it on for 15min at a time. It’ll be uncomfortable on the first go but that discomfort slowly goes away deeper into the session. Just my experience with it
Synth Riders should definitely be mentioned if you mention beat saber. Personally, I prefer Synth because it's very dancy and also has very cool six maps called "expiriences" which are basically an animated journey through a song with cool effects. But of course Beat Saber has a huge amount of custom maps, something Synth can't really offer yet. And my friends who never tried VR before got so addicted to Synth after one session, lmao. Now I had to map some of their fav song for next party.....
Yeah, Synth Riders recently replaced Beat Saber for me as my go-to light(ish) exercise app. It gets my whole body moving more as I play more, while Beat Saber swiftly becomes an arm-waggling game rather than a dancing game. It can be addictive and I find myself wanting to jump in to do a song even outside of my self-imposed exercise time.
Similar for me, loved beat saber but then got a bit more hooked into synth riders. I still think I like beat saber but it felt a little clunky and slow to get back to from synth riders for some reason. To be fair though I think synth riders is a lot more forgiving on timing and accuracy and I think I kinda also just made me less good at beat saber lol
Agreed! All my friends preferred this to Beat Saber. The game has awesome songs, amazing graphics and different modes. This is my fav VR game hands down.

Throw in a sports game in the mix or maybe a horror game or rhythm game and you wont need another game on quest until another big high profile release comes out.
I know he mentioned most of these in the video but seriously ive tried so many games on quest so many bad ones so many good ones and so many different genres and these are seriously the best in their respective genres forgot to mention Synth riders or Pistol whip if your looking for a rhythm game but that covers everything youll need.

Into the Radius is my most played game of all time! If you haven’t tried it, you definitely need to check it out.
Another free game (at least on Quest) thats been getting some traction is Sail. Its a VR pirate game, but its early access and does have some bugs and jank. Still a lot of fun to go out sailing and getting treasure with friends.
Its end goal is basically to be similar to Sea of Thieves. Worth the shot if you have a Quest since its free, it is $14.99 on steam though sadly.

Some extras that I really like; one for MR (still in app lab so forgive that it isn't 100% fleshed out) is MiRicale Pool. The physicals for playing pool are very nice, can be played locally in mixed reality. The other, Rooms of Realities for coop escape rooms.

Moss 1 and 2 are still my favorite VR games. I cannot recommend those enough to anyone.

I never got into AW2 too far because I enjoyed DoE combat and multiplayer much more. Do you like the combat feel in AW2 better than DoE or is it moreso a combination of the story, environment, and progression too?

7 days to die in VR is HOLLYSHIT amazing, the mod is a bit clunky for a few things, but man, what a game.
Also, there is UEVR, a program that turn 90%+ of the unreal 4 and 5 games into VR (some even with 6DOF). so, you got soooooo many games.
Half life 1 and 2 vr mod are so good, btw the 1 can be played standalone in meta quest 2/3

I’ve finally just started playing asguards, after a few months of playing other games like walking dead, and tabor, and so far it’s really baddass. Can’t wait to get back into it every night.

meh.... maybe 7 years ago... it hasnt really held up considering all the rogue likes that have come since then ( the arrow traveling mechanic was cool at first.. but cumbersome these days compared to what has come out..... I think thats why Until You Fall stilll holds up ( quick dash or teleport to move... as oppose to physically drwaing your bow, point, letting go. )

A few honorable mentions: Barbaria is a very different and fun Rogue-Lite, as well as The Light Brigade, and so is Broken Edge, which does PvP and mixed reality and all that. I also enjoyed Arizona Sunshine 2 as a story-driven shooter. I guess VR MMOs aren't a thing anymore. Though admittedly, I jumped back into Zenith with the new update for good old times' sake, and it still has some really fun mechanics, but is completely empty now.

I can't log into my Quest app.. when I log in via email it says im using an older version than is supported.. I go to the website to download oculus app and run it and it says it's already installed.. to repair or uninstall

I really recommend *Walkabout Mini Golf* as a Starter game. It is also a multiplatform title with cross-play. So players on Quest, Pico, PSVR2 and PCVR (SteamVR) can play together.

I love robo recall but the quest version wasn't great
Number one game by far is Eleven table tennis it’s absolutely phenomenal
Another VR game thats a must play in my opinion is TWD: Saints & Sinners
smash drums and dead second are amazing
agreed on Smash Drums. I don't hear about that game on hardly any of the VR sites, but it is my favorite of the VR rhythm games. Once you get going on expert levels it truly feels like you are a badass drummer.
Dead second is a shooter like time crisis but vr, too short but a lots of fun

Have you checked Zenith's new free to play mode? MMOs are under-represented in VR. I'd love to see one succeed or for devs to get good feedback on why the current ones won't.

I really enjoyed Nexus. I was only sad in that I know it could have been better with a little more love. B-haptics and better parkour would have made it unforgettable.
You're missing out big time if you don't like horror games. Resident Evil Village is one of my favorite VR games and I don't even like Resident Evil games. I beat it 5 times already. Very excited for the future of VR horror games.

The problem with... pretty much all of these is that I don't like fighting/shooting games. I'm disabled, and between processing and endurance, stuff like shooters just doesn't work for me. I know there is more to VR than this, but it would be nice to see some recommendations that aren't just the same things I already ruled out. I got a few ideas from your video, but I would love to see more games that are going to be more accessible.
If you haven't seen they just added roblox. Not sure what all comes with it but should atleast expand your library for the most part atleast
They also have gamepass cloud gaming if there's any xbox games you wanted to try

No what we really need is to be able to connect the quest 3 to the steam deck 2. With support to download, and play games on the quest 3 as well as the steam deck. The steam deck 2 would be awesome if it was able to do this. We need every VR player to contact steam, and meta request this!!! If they made it capable of doing this then I would get rid of my xbox forever, and only support steam.

I usually just actually turn my body I very rarely use snap turn or smooth turn.

I remember having a lot of fun playing those "Quest" games on Rec Room many years ago. Its a shame that they aren't making any more. Also when Rec Room got flooded with little kids (when Playstation was added) it was not as fun because it was hard to find adult groups to do Quests with.

There seems to be a lack of sports titles?...... Walkabout Mini Golf is a shoe in for any top 10 list....and Eleven VR Table Tennis is amazing as is VR Golf, both need adaptors to really reach their full potential, but the depth of gameplay, Skill curve & immersion of both these titles is frankly astounding. "Thrill to fight" can also help you burn a few of those excess calories, while releasing a little pent up tension :)

Between Space Pirate and Robo Recall on quest 3 which would you choose?
Robo Recall..... Space Pirate is a wave shooter where you just stand in one spot; whereas Robo Recall you can move around and there are a lot of cool bonus stunts while playing ( throwing a gun at a robot and catching reloads your gun automatically..... you can "juggle" a robot in the air as you shoot one jumping towards/down to you for a combo bonus etc)
Also with Robo Recall there is a story, challenges, abiblity to gain stars to upgrade your weapons.
