The realization that something can happen to my mother or children any day gives me enough sense to stay out of trouble. Ppl always talk about how they will hurt someone for a loved one or how they sell or rob for them, but I stay out of trouble for mine, so anytime they need me I’m just a phone call away.
When I was in jail my cellmate's mom got beaten really badly by her boyfriend. He went crazy when he got the news. He was the only one protecting his mom. It wouldn't have happened if he wasn't in jail.
