I worked for H&R Block my first year as a professional tax preparer. It was the last year I worked for them. For 30 years, I have been self-employed doing tax prep.
@@manp1039 To work for H&R Block, one has to take and pass their Federal tax law course (or at least they did when I took their course in the late 1980s). So that was my initial training. Once I cut my ties with them as a tax preparer, I can no longer take the update courses from them. As a NY State tax preparer, I am required to fulfill a certain number of continuing education hours to retain my license to prepare NY State returns. I also review new tax laws at the beginning of tax season and develop other skills based on the changing needs of my clients or any new clients who have engaged my services.
Does anyone know where I can find more info on number one contestant Trevor Burns? I love looking up America's true heros and find alot of them right here on TTTT! Can't seem to find anything on him.
Number two said the name of the company was H&F Block. Had they mentioned the name of the company in the intro or affidavit it would have been a dead giveaway. Number one's real name was Richard Adolf Bloch (note the spelling)
Gene lived in our neighborhood when I was growing up. At the time this show aired, he had been married for 24 years and was married to his wife for over 50 years. But did you see him dancing with the contestant and Bud even gave him a spank as he was leaving the dais.
👘As soon as the second set of contestants appeared. It was obvious that person No.2, could not have been Ruby Moye. Traditionally, Japanese dress is always worn left side over right. Unless you're deceased, when it's the other way around. So you could say that she was wearing something she wouldn't be seen dead in! Maybe this was a genuine mistake, or they did it to see if any of the panel noticed.🖐
I knew it was not # 2 because what the answer he was looking for was "ki", and judo classes rarely uses the word 'fight". I know, I was in a judo club back in HS. Judo is self-defense and # 3 also used the word "fight". I was right this time, but LOTS of times I'm wrong haha. Love TTTT.
Peggy Cass isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer; she can ask the dumbest, most irrelevant questions: “Number 2, what do you do with your hair when you’re doing karate?” WTF
These 3 Rubys were indeed all gems. Thanks for the video.
Man #2 in Game #1
Lady #1 in Game #2
Man #1 in Game #3 24:42 Watch for Bud's butt slap to Gene Rayburn.
So much fun.
Cool to meet the R of H & R Block. They charge a bit more than $7.50 now.
Rayburn dancing with the contestant to whom he avowed his love at 24:46

where did you get your training to become a pro tax preparer? and do you or did you go to H&R Block for the yearly update training for the next year?

tom poston was brilliant as usual.
Kitty flirts with #1 in game one, Gene flirts with #3 in game two and the poor guys in game three can't get lucky to save their lives! LOL
Stuyvesant Wainwright has quite an interesting bio and family tree. If I am right about who he was, they should have recognized him.
I would think that bringing cigars into the counrty would have been against the law. From Cuba.
Ooops wrong Mr. Bloch....it was his brother..still great story though!

rocky marino thank you! One of the more interesting stories I have read about a contestant. So many of these people were so incredibly fascinating!
I wonder if that White House secretary ever had to fight off President Kennedy.
Jealous it ain't you ?
Would have in the Clinton White House.
One way to find out is to see if she's still alive, or how she died!!!

I knew it wasn't #2 immediately because of that. He eliminated the initial of the actual contestant!
Gene Rayburn was a hunk!!
Gene Rayburn is so fine😩

wow that is so cool! I did hear that he cheated on his wife, but I don’t think that’s true. At least I hope not. He seemed like a cool guy. Was he?

H&F Block? Must be a new tax firm!
Check out Henry W. Bloch (Richard Block) WW2 record..he was awesome! Flew 31 combat missions among other things.
I thought Richard was Henrys' father

Contestant number three from the martial arts segment could now join the #metoo movement after Gene Rayburn's comments.
SixtyThree Kraft What on earth have I missed out on about Gene? Everyone else seems to know about him!
The #metoo movement sure went the way of the dinosaur, didn't it? It was nothing more than a passing fad.

Look at Peggy's odd hair style.
