    I bought the Elvie stride after watching your review of Elvie vs elvie stride. How do you take out the milk without any spilling ? Because even when I bent forward towards the end , there is milk in the tunnel that doesn’t come down. Even pouring out the milk into tricky, towards the end the milk just stays around the spout ledge. I have to use the inserts so it is so hard to tell if my nipple is in the middle but it feels that way since I can see it if I move the cup itself. But I am not getting too much milk from it compared to my spectra. I wanted a pump on the go or when I go back to work but I would certainly look forward to a video with more tips and tricks on how to use it. Even having you pour out the milk and see how you do it!

    • @MadisonLoethen
      @MadisonLoethen  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I would lean forward as you are taking it off so that any milk in the shaft hopefully falls into the cups. You can also turn it on for a min after you take it off and let it hopefully suck up any extra milk in the shaft. I just pour out the pour holes but you can also take off the flange and pour directly out of the cups to get any last drops. Unfortunately, some mamas do get less milk with wearables. I find adding a couple extra minutes to your pump time can help with that.

      Yes! I think I’d go with the Elvie Stride over the Horigen I reviewed because the Stride is quieter, and I feel like the parts may last longer. The Horigen’s screen is better though as the Stride does rely heavily on the app for use

    Hi! This is my second child and I will again be mainly breastfeeding, but am hoping to build freezer milk supply for emergency and occasional bottle. I had an over supply of milk with my first and had to pump after nursing, so I am anticipating the same. I used the spectra S2 with my first and enjoyed the suction strength and comfort, but prefer to not be stuck to a chair/plug with my second. I am debating between the Elvie Stride Plus Double Electric Breast Pump or the Willow Go Wearable Double Electric Breast Pump and after watching both of your videos, I am still not sure on which. Given my above info and that I like a strong hospital grade suction, which pump would you recommend? Or would you recommend the Lansinoh Wearable Double Electric Breast Pump over those two?

    • @MadisonLoethen
      @MadisonLoethen  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So if you plan on doing the fridge hack I'd deff go with the Stride or Lansinoh wearable. The Willow Go is great, the motor is just in the middle so you have to take it apart if you want to put your parts in the fridge. You might like the Stride better if you are bigger chested because it's lighter in the bra. Or you may like the Lansinoh if you just want to be tube free or not mess with an app.

    Thank you for this review. I think I need a wearable for work, but I've heard from others that the original Elvie did not empty them completely. Does this empty better than the original? Also, I saw that you reviewed the MomCozy M5 as well. Which do you like more between the Elvie Stride and the MomCozy M5? Is one louder than the other? Do they empty equally well?

    • @MadisonLoethen
      @MadisonLoethen  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      They both empty me well but with all wearables I just tack on 2 or 3 minutes of pumping time to be safe. Both are pretty quiet but you can hear them in a quiet room. I'd reccomend the stride or Momcozy V2 (I'm gonna put out a video soon!) for bigger chested women because the cups don't have motors on them to weigh you down. Otherwise, the M5 and S12 pro are nicer in my opinion because you don't have to worry about the tubes.
