Game was unlucky that it was released in the same year as ragnarok and elden ring. In other years it would've got goty, best music, best main actor/actress, best story, and maybe best action/adventure.
Even with these two games, it should've won best music and performance (though Manon Gage was awesome in Immortality). I think most of the people who voted just didn't play the game.
i agree, but thats totally fine with me. the fact that a no name studio in france could compete with from software and their souls like games is an achievement in and of itself
Much as I love this series, the gameplay revolved very strongly around the story. I enjoyed the stealth missions a lot, but it wasn't exactly the pinnacle of gaming.
Not goty at all. The story was great, performances were good, music was fantastic, the art direction was excellent, all of that better than GOW Ragnarok and Elden Ring, but the gameplay was poor, even more than the first one. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 had the best soundtrack, though.
Up There has the ability to elevate me to higher places. I love this score! I can't help to shed a tear or two listening to it from the context of the game. Ultimately, it was #love and an indescribable #sacrifice that the De Rune family had to endure. That final walk towards King Hugo broke my heart. But a sense of satisfaction and peace then found me when Amicia declared, "We never backed down, right? WE HELD!" I truly LOVE, LOVE these games!

i can't even make a top 5 for this game lmao, The Wall and The Night are definitielly one of my favorites too, the soundtrack it's just epic, can't name a game that made me feel more emotional than this one
Agreed. I’ve been listening to the OST regularly since finishing the game. The tracks missing from this top 5 for me is Unwilling Violence and The Rage Within. Although it seems a new foe has some of the melody towards the end. But I agree with you it’s hard to pick 5. The soundtrack was meant to be a full sound track for a reason. All the songs have their place in Amicia and Hugo’a journey. It wouldn’t had been the same with any of them missing. Up There is definitely my favorite though. Especially after learning the French to English translations of the lyrics Olivier posted on his TH-cam channel.

@@funtofun7451 I just meant that the OST is Meant to be listened too as a whole…rather than picking songs out. In the official OST all the songs run together into each other. Yes the songs are great on their own. But listened to as a whole… from start to finish it is surprisingly more than the sum of its parts. Which is kinda nuts considering they are pretty great individually also. And yes I listened to the symphony live performance on Oliver’s channel. It’s amazing! His walkthrough of his thinking throughout the entire game is so awesome too. Whatever he was paid to create the music and OST for Requiem… they should double it! lol He is incredibly talented.
