My speed triple 1050 sounds cooler
The Z1000 feels like such an underrated bike. AFAIK they're not even making them anymore? At least its not marketed at all here in Norway. Hope Kawasaki comes out with another one. Theres something about it, I can't put my finger on it. But it puts it apart from the Z950 (which is also an awesome bike).
It is for sure, they stopped making them after 2021 i think.. Its a shame for real, hope it makes a comeback!

hey quick question out of curiousity, what is the little cylinder under the monitor for? to reduce wobble in steering?
Think it’s called a steering damper and is there to reduce risk of speed wobbles and bring more stability in turns. Some may make the bike a little less agile in lower speeds
It is a steering damper, it only has one job :)
If the front starts to wobble alot it is there to help stop it, search for tank slappers and you will get some good examples!
Other than that it does not do anything

Snälla gör inte det. Inte en grupp där folk medvetet förstör vägarna (gör märken med flit) det är bara omoget av dom som gör det och får motorcyklister att se ännu sämre ut sen så verkar många köra olagligt
Do you get vibration over 7k rpm in 1st gear - Mine makes a buzzing sound over 7k rpm
I have not thought about it tbh, but it does vibrate on the footpegs sometimes depending on gear and rpm.
I cant say anthing about sound tho since my exhaust would muffle it

Very nice video! Just sold my GSXR 1000 k9, wasnt my type of riding position. How is the Z1000? Would you pick it over a supersport on public roads?
@supersportracer The -17/18 models got the wet clutch or sum right? Appreciate the reply and honesty bro.
Yeah as supersportracer says, also the clutch is way easier to pull witch slipper clutch :)
Another thing worth mentioning is that 2014-2016 models are prone to having issues with 4th gear going bad if you are unlucky. If you can id recommend going 2017+ :)
Its a great bike, just a blast all around :)
Its way better than a supersport on publics roads, alot of power but still comfortable. Looks great and sounds awsome. Turns alot of heads when riding on it ^^
Honestly tho for me id go supersport just because i have wanted one for ages, cant tho since its to expensive rn with insurance and stuff

@@NobodyMoto I fully understand you regarding the insurance etc. But with all honesty, the supersports look amazing. Other than that, I find it hard to use on public roads since your so dependant on the road not giving you surprises. On track, its a wild animal

You still have the stock gearing on this? pulling 3rd gear without any clutch is mental
Yeah its stock gearing, alot of ppl that has z1000 changes the front sprocket to +1 since top end is pretty bad. It revlimits when going top speed otherwhise lol :)
I keep it stock since i prefer the acceleration, having the feeling of your arms getting ripped off is way to fun!
