Its amazing how these old Hondas stay handsome all thier lives and still impress over and around 50 years later.

They carb boots are cheap tube that was sagging under the weight of the carbs. Bought some correct ones and all is fine now.

If you had kickstart only would it be do able on a daily basis with this Kit? Looking at doing a cammed 836 build as a street rider wanting to go kick start only

This guy is kick only. No problem except if it's really cold out. If your bike is set up right should start in 1-2 kicks. Good luck with your project.

adudefromhouston thanks working on getting info for a swingarm swap. Was originally looking at a turbo 915 but apparently they're really hard to tune properly:( oh well how does she pull? Top speed? 0-60? Sorry for all the questions people with BBKs on this bike are either inactive on the forums or their channels. Thanks for the quick response

I've never had a 915, but have heard they are much more difficult builds with close engine tolerances. Also kicking would be more work. On this bike I've never timed it and it's not really geared for fast pickup. I'm sure she'd do way over 100, but I've never gone over 85-90mph. If you want to learn anything mechanical about these old sohc hondas check out this website. Great group of motor heads & someone will be able to answer any question: www.hondachopper.com
