- Fully detailed and very lore-friendly tour of my Red Rocket. The headcanon I had for this area is that it's going to act as the main power armour vendor for the Commonwealth. Staffed by the Scribe himself.

Awesome build. I like the idea of dedicating a settlement to one of the unique vendors. I might do that in my current (1st) survival play-through once I have them all recruited. Been taking inspiration from your work ever since I saw your coastal cottage underground home wayyyy back when.
Davey's mod for Red Rocket is really nice and easy to build around. Would 100% recommend that and Taffington Boathouse

We are definitely in the same head space. I'm level 67 and haven't met Danse or Deacon yet, but my settlements are looking nice.
I love building in Fallout 4 (with mods) ...it's like crack. Never gets old. I have over 5000 hours in the game mostly because of buidling, modding, tinkering. It's my happy place. Been using your walls mod for years.

I love Red Rocket. It’s going neglected at the moment because I’m playing SS2 and trying to get thru it (it was interrupted by the Next-Gen update. I experienced issues when I tried to build up Red Rocket and Sanctuary so RR will have to wait til I play a game that’s more about my own settlement building.
I love seeing you and CordlessVIII returning to FO4 modding videos as you are probably my two earliest inspirations .

Just detailing and rebuilding settlements can be a sub game that rivals the main quest line for those who enjoy building etc.

Returning back to the game, I bought it on release, this is the first time for me focussing on settlements. With using a PC I feel like a child in sweetshop, in terms of mods that can be used.......And, I use some.
Getting back into fallout 4 and I’m glad to see you’re still making settlement videos, was always my favorite part of playing was watching your videos for settlement ideas. I was wondering what mod you use for the junk car walls? I feel that’s one thing I’d like to replicate.

I'm a little surprised that you never built on the roof except for a generator, and a few pylons. I like making a scaffolding platform to the roof with some garden planters. Often a few shacks, guard posts, and some turrets are stuck up there as well. Red Rocket is often the place that I send my companions when I've maxed out their affinity, and gotten their perk. Except for MacCready, I usually stick him in Vault 88 because he's always bitching about not being underground. :)

Personally I feel like a robot settler would fs be good in this settlement as a form of protection if the guy is selling high end armor
the urge to play keeps rising...
Building up the setrlements is the best part of this game. It just sucks about the build limit and after that stupid CC update, my game freezes frequently especially with the settlements near the downtown area 😑
Trust me robot provisioners are the way forward
sadly they will reset to their default, new automatron state after a while - I used to do the same before it started happening
@@norespawnsI’ve had Ada working as a provisioner for about 2 weeks now and had no problems.

What mod are you talking about at 4:42 that gives you car walls? Also I see that you are using the: Dogs instead of Brahmin mod. Do you ever find that the dog's just randomly yelp and start the wounded dog animation? I played with the mod for years, but every so often that would happen, and I could hear it way far off in the distance too or just in town. No attacks are taking place, just walking or chillin' with their caravan group. I changed it from dogs to Eyebots, and now I don't have that issue, but I miss the doggo's 🐕🦺🐕

Looks absolutely grand! I really need to start a new playthrough, I just keep sticking with my max leveled OP character. It's good, I mostly just explore, and having to redo the early game isn't super appealing, but I think maybe it's time. Have a great weekend, will stay tuned!

Great mod, but I have a problem, you can't put anything in the trailer, things go through the ground.
Amazing as always. I know you aren't redoing your mod for this settlement, but when you eventually do The Castle, i would love that as a mod.

In your old fo4 vids there used to be this chill instrumental playing in the background you should def bring that back it made these videos even more awesome

nah, the mod is more of a walls mod, with the rest left blank for you to decorate yourself

I'm using your old red rocket MOD for Xbox but it's a bit lacking. Love your attention to detail and wish I had the time and patience to do it as you do. Any chance we can get this uploaded as a MOD? Any intention on uploading any of your new builds for MODs?
nah i wont be re-doing the mod as that would be days of work - but point of the mod is to add walls, but give you the freedom to add decor yourself

i suck at settlement building ! i get irritated to fast with things not working like the rug glitch . and then having to take stuff down cuz it didnt line up right . im much better at killing bad guys .
