There are two "Sugas" One represents the persona (the one that is performing) and the other one represents the shadow- ALL BASED ON CARL JUNG'S MAP OF THE SOUL: the 4 parts of the psyque. The music video is also inspired by Basquiat's paintings, horror movies with the exact same scenes and Blood , Sweat and Tears' art (not Bts's blood , sweat and tears; it's the art by an Indian artist)

It means that it looses something to keep moving, a part of it is left in the past and is gone.

The pressures of fame and what comes with it is the shadow, along with disappointment, regrets, self doubt. As he gets more famous which he had wanted he realizes it's not what he thought. He says "why did nobody tell me how lonely it is up here" which speaks volumes.
