  • Some tips and tricks I learned while installing my LED turn signals and relocating my licence plate frame on my 2017 Victory Highball
*** Please ignore my lip smaking, sour beer was being consumed 😋
KMC Powersports is the name of the shop who did the tune.
I also forgot to mention I did go to my yard to get a very small 2 wire plug, both male and female ends and spliced it between the fender wiring harness and licence plate wire. This allows me to unplug it in case I need to remove the fender or plate frame. Otherwise it would be soldered to fender wire and would have to be reordered if removed.

Thanks man. Was under the seat today looking for the flasher relay on my Gunner. Reckon I'll be able to identify it after watching your clip. 👍🏻👍🏻

Where did you get the side mount for the plate? That one is super low profile and stays way closer to the bike than all the other ones I’ve looked at. Looks great dude 🤙🏻 doin my conversion right now

Thanks! Glad I could help someone. I believe that came from victoryonly.com I was concerned about that as well. I wanted it tucked in nice and close!

Just purchased a LED turn signal assembly from Victory Only for my Jackpot. The one I purchased is manufactured by Radiantz but looks similar. It has a small control module as well as the load equalizer. Were you satisfied having your equalizer placed under the seat or would you have considered securing it under the fender by the tail light?

I always feel like the cleaner the better so under the fender is not a bad idea. The only considerations would be making sure it doesn't get too beat up and all the connections are weatherproof. Also they say they produce alot of heat so it is advised to mount them on a location that can disperse and handle that heat. Good luck!

Who makes those pipes? I want a set just like that and have been having trouble finding a set.

What’s the noise after you hit the ignition switch? Mine does the same thing i thought maybe something was wrong.

The short little whine is the fuel system priming. A side effect of fuel injection. My highball does the same too.

What model number is your headlight. I look online for the same headlight since I have the same exact bike and I can not find one that says it will fit

I am sorry I didn't remember it was quite a while ago. I think there were just 2 generic diameters and one of them is the correct one. I want to say 5.5 comes to mind but please don't quote me.

You did not have to start the bike to "test" the signals. Just turn on key and put red switch to run position. Also, you did not have to cut up your harness for the load equalizer contraption. Just could of got a LED Flasher from a Cross Country bike from like 2013 or newer. The flasher is exact replacement as far as the connector that plugs into it. Only difference is the guts of the flasher will run LED Bulbs without the hyper flash. The Non LED flasher will say "10W" on it, like yours does.. The LED Flasher says "LED" on it. Both flashers look the same. Only difference is the writing on them. They are both 12 pin proprietary Victory flashers. You will not buy them from NAPA auto stores. How do I know all this? I have a 2017 Gunner and just installed the LED flasher and than put in LED bulbs in my turn signal housings that I replaced years ago, but were still incandescent bulbs. Everything works great. And no cutting of my harness and no heat "equalizer" module to worry about that might melt other wires. Food for thought.
