Great stuff Warro, Very useful wee block and tackle to have with you in case of an emergency. I am sure you could find plenty of other uses for it around the house also. Congratulations on the new bike.

thanks. yeah i think i will be back to more confidence carry that bit of kit. must admit that last drop on the vstrom 250 gave me plenty to think about.
where ive ridden these bikes solo especially the classic 350 reborn was in extremely risky ride areas too - not real bright with no phone range or the only back would be via a walk out.
i'd never touch the ground till 3 weeks ago or had any real idea what happens if you can't get the bike up....certainly do now and not easy to hail a car down either...lol
new bike well i could collect now but long weekend so might grab it on tuesday when not as much traffic of the road. its registered and ready to go so its just and run...lol

Glad you enjoyed it! after getting caught out in the bush when that suzuki went dow in the mud had me thinking as the cars passed by...lol
i needed something to get me out of a drop without relyiing on others.
it appears so far this will do the job. i'll know better once i get it in a real ride situation.

Hello from America, after watching your video and after dropping my 300 pound bike, then struggling to lift it up I ordred a Nifty Lift. I also talked to the fellow here in America, Such a nice down to earth fellow and so willing to help.
There are a lot of older riders like me out there, I have had two heart attach and surgerys, and I got to tell you I thought I might have anothet heart attach when I had to lift my bike to upright position, so This block and tackle system will fit in my pack and could be a life savor.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว +1

yeah when my bike went down it was a walk out for me...lol best of all its mainly for the peace of mind knowing its there if needed. hopefully you won't but its a good honest reserve which does the job.
im thinking too maybe no trees about or such-a good solid tent peg may help with the attachment side and get it that first foot or so -the hardest part off the ground.
      all the best!

@@ridewithwarro I could have baught a China made for 1/3 the price, but I would rather not buy from my enimey for one, and two I feel better buying from friendly countries . I am a retired machinist and still have a small machine shop and could make it my self, but I feel I should help suport a person that put hours into designing a small light weight block and tackle at a resonable price, materials are not cheap, and time spent machining and assembly is worth a lot.

G'day Warro, that's a nifty item, as your get older you may or not be strong enough to lift your Motorcycle if it goes down, my 650 Interceptor went of its side stand on to grass, no damage done and it took all my effort to lift it, I'm 65 now late on l might not be able, thanks for the heads up, ride safe mate, Neil 🤠.

i'm actually pretty happy with the clip and it was just a pretty straight run of filming without doing various re-takes. plus i think there are probably quite a few 50kg riders out there which would find this clip useful plus a few old veterans too...lol.
next up will be a tryout on the vstrom or maybe even the classic 350 reborn.
not in as much detail as this clip just quick clip of a bike on the ground and see if it pulls it up.
i also thought that aussie seller was pretty silly not responding to me. but his loss. i feel this nifty-lift will get a fair bit of air play on the channel.
its nice and compact to carry in its case and smaller still in the draw bag and after todays trial i see lots of reason why i will carry it.
