Why are so many people against this junction system? FF8 was the first Final Fantasy i've ever played, so for me this is the norm (and baked into my brain... apparently, since i'm playing the Remaster 20 years later, and it still feels like it was 5 minutes ago). To me it's a very easy system and very practical.
Nah, it's probably because they haven't heard his remakes. But, the other real reasons are: 1) being fantastic at producing remakes doesn't necessarily make you a great composer (which is probably what they would want) 2) unless he lives in Japan (and speaks Japanese), they probably can't work with him... there are ways around that, of course, but you know... it would require money or more hoops to jump through 3) he probably hasn't applied to work with them. Life is complicated.

This theme is in many pieces from FFVIII, including The Landing....it's a central theme to the entire game!
