Another thing I can say about V is his vocals are consistent..Major props to the fact he can perform live and sound identical to the record or better...S/O to the band and the back up singers as well..Hella Dope!!! Tae doesn’t perform, he breathes and lives for music. He has shared some of his playlists and the range he loves is extreme. Bing Crosby, Procol Harum, Ella James, being a few. He is a total pure artist. He also loves to share his love and does so with enthusiasm which he shares with the people working with him. It’s a joy to watch him and them.💜

I'm a 64 year old woman who happened upon V's Tiny Desk performance late last year. That was my first introduction to him and I LOVE his music, his vibe, his voice. I'm now a big fan, and because of him, I have started listening to and watching BTS videos, as well as stories about their lives. I adore these young men (although I may be too old to be considered in BTS ARMY. 😊)
Don't worry, being ARMY has no age limit! We have a lot of older people, even in theirs 70s and 80s, in the fandom. I hope you enjoy catching up with their content.

I'm in my 40s and Tae's songs and voice are my vibe. I just love them so much. I didn't really connect to the solos of other members and I casually listen to some of the older BTS songs but I love Tae's stuff so much.
Just wanted to give you some info about the Sax player. His name is Jacob Scesney. He's a multi-Grammy winning woodwind specialist with over 50 chart-topping performance credits.
Tae really got the best to work with him.

V has the widest vocal range in the group and for a baritone, he is able to match the high notes of the tenors in the group. He has one of the most versatile vocal tones and effects like his growling. RM has said that V can sing any genre, he is that versatile. You're going to love the tiny desk. V is a musicians musician. He gives time to the band to have their moment to shine. As he loves jazz and classical music this performance was what he envisioned when doing his album.

BTS loves music wholeheartedly. In American Hustle life, Iris Stevenson once singled out Taehyung and praised his voice, calling it soulful and appealing to souls. I couldn't agree more. Personally, for me, his voice is calming, soothing, and comforting. It's like a warm blanket on a cold night.

Kim Taehyung aka V is seriously a breath of fresh air in not just Kpop, but all of music. To see a young guy in 2023/24 absolutely love R&B and Jazz and the classics, when he could do any genre he wanted to and write his own ticket, is incredible. And his skills are beautiful as a baritone with that tenor range

V was one of the artists to help launch Tiny Desk Korea in 2023, loves jazz, plays the sax, & said he would’ve been continued with that (and with farming like his grandparents) if he wasn’t in BTS. V is a musician’s musician. He always appreciates those he works with. He always sounds good live. For this the album, his promotions were ALL live. And every time he sounded so good and consistent check out his live version of Blue. He also did a live performance of Slow Dancing on a Japanese show called One Take where there is only one chance no retakes. Out all of the vocal line, he listens to the widest range of music. RM and the rap line gave each of the maknae line a USB full of music when they first formed a group telling them they needed to understand music. V took that to heart.
💯 All V's live performances are so good, like not only his vocals but also the way he performs; it's so worth watching. It'd be a shame to miss out ngl.

I really enjoyed watching your reaction. It’s been amazing to see Kim Taehyung’s “V” growth through out his 11 years within BTS and as a solo artist. His album Layover is amazing! You should check out NPOP V Special Comeback Stage Live 2023 09, Tae sings “Rainy Days” as well as some of your other favorites from the album, he also did a KBS music bank promotion for his the album, BANGTANTV “Friends” which was released while he’s been in the Military Serving, V Slow Dancing Band Session, Kim Taehyung “Cheek to Cheek”, and BTS V performing Jazz Live are all amazing. Also BTS has done several Tiny Desk/ Tiny Desk Korea performances. RM also did a Tiny Desk Concert performance which was amazing. Looking forward to seeing more reactions. Every time ‘ for us’ comes up on my playlist, I go ‘buddy you gotta sing that one more time for me’ . I love the song so much 💜💜 Taehyung (V) appeared in some music shows as part of promo and I have watched ‘for us’ numerous times. I still want more. 🫣 I get it. 💜 they LOVE music and they have their own colors/styles. It is such a journey to explore that. 🫠

The interesting thing is that every BTS member did promotion for their solos a little differently. They tailored their it to fit their personalities and styles. V didn’t do a lot of variety/talk shows (he did a few) but he did Tiny Desk, and a very unique promotion in a smaller area of Korea where he did :20 live performances for random people who came to club after being invited. They would pay a small amount, sit in the club facing a curtain, the curtain would open and V would sing for 20 seconds. People were freaking out and slightly confused. It was amazing and very V. (The video on TH-cam on the Bangtan channel). Both V and RM kept their promotions very intimate, while Jimin and JK went big with talk shows and videos. Suga and J-Hope are both performance focused with Suga doing a whole tour and J-Hope headlining Lalapalooza. It really showcases their talents.

What I loved the most abt Tiny Desk with V was the sincerity in his performance and his love for music is apparent as you said. and what a fantastic band, kudos to them. The synergy between the singer and the band is off the charts. V said this is the kind of performance he's been dreaming about doing for a long time!
And maybe it's selfish of me to want more reaction to V from you, but I'd recommend ending scene duet on IU palette show and his slow dancing + love me again band sessions with the same band too. thank you Gameboy, lots of love from us💜💫

As another V-voice lover, I RAN when I saw this video on my fyp lmao. His tiny desk was genuinely magical. Also, unrelated, but I think the army-made series "Rise of Bangtan" would really suit what your looking for with BTS. It shows their entire journey (not currently updated, but a big portion). I watched it as a new Army and it honestly changes your view of them. It shows all the struggle and pure overwhelming passion those boys have for music and it recommend it for anyone who values that. The work environment stops being work with him around, Taehyung makes people feel comfortable with him.
He's someone so warm, with so much charisma, that his joy and enthusiasm is contagious, it's impossible not to adore him, not to smile when you see him happy, know someone like him or more precisely him is to win in life.
More than co-workers, they end up becoming a beautiful family, who welcomed Taehyung and made him feel free, he enjoyed working with them so much that it comes across the screen.
I can only thank the entire team who was with him for treating Taehyung with respect and affection, the result of that was seeing him with a beautiful smile in each behind-the-scenes video, sharing moments with the team, having a good time, and creating beautiful memories 🥹❤️
