Your mention of an accountant reminded me of this. A man was going to be audited by the IRS and didn't know what to wear. So he went to his tax accountant and asked him. His accountant told him to wear the grubbiest clothes he owned showing that he couldn't be intimidated. The guy didn't know whether this was good advice so he went to his tax lawyer and asked him. The lawyer told him to wear the best suit he owned including the vest to show the IRS that he couldn't be daunted. The guy didn't know whether this was good advice or not so he went to his rabbi and asked him. The rabbi told him there was this beautiful young woman who went to her mother on her wedding day and said, "Mamma, mamma, tonight is my wedding night. What should I wear?" The mother responded: you know that flannel nightie you have that goes from your neck to your feet? Button the top button and wear that. The young woman didn't know whether this was good advice or not so she went to her girlfriend and asked her. The girlfriend answered: You know that teddy you own that is open on top and slowly comes to a close at your waist? Wear that. The man looked at the rabbi and exclaimed, "What has this got to do with me?" The rabbi replied, "You are going to get screwed no matter what you wear."
Very neat! Liking the look of the carbon fiber one, but I must admit the seamless finish makes the stainless one quite appealing too!

I have a Schon Design pen...takes fisher refills too. He's really growing too.
Just bought the S.S. one. I EDC a pen every day. At work it's either a Hinderer S.S. Investigator, Kaweco Sport or a Pilot G2 Mini. Outside of work it's the same or a Benchmade 1100 with carbon tip, A Lamy Safari or one of my many Fisher Space pens.

Those look like quality options for sure, good review!! I mostly carry Pokka Pens because they are very small to carry, write like a full size pen and are pretty inexpensive.

I carry a Cross sterling silver plated pen or a Cross stainless steel pen daily, I'm not sure of their model numbers but I love the idea of being able to replace the ink cartridges when needed. I thought about getting into collecting pens, but on top of knives, watches, pipes and cigars, the last thing I need is another hobby, pens can get expensive I'm sure.

For good stuff I have Cross and Parker pens, but over the last few years for smoothness plain old Pilot G-2's are efforless to write with and I have them all over the house and in the car.
They have tough plastic as well. Very nice “gel” pen.

@@tikkidaddy I have never had a problem by going to Staples or Office Depot and getting all I want. I guess these days you could check their website first to see if they are in stock, but I can't imagine that they are not.

I have a schmidt easyflow 9000 in mines and it writes pretty darn smoothly.
Oh man, I'm so glad I live in Europe, doing taxes here just means you log into a website, make around 5 to 10 clicks and you're done within 2 minutes. Everything is automated. In fact, I barely find an occasion to use a pen anymore, which is sad though, my most used one has to be the one on my SAK minichamp just to sign stuff.

I am considering it over a standard click pen which to me is in EVERY way superior to ALL bullshit 2 handed opening pens.
Fountain pens aside, those are not for me, but they are clearly pens for when you can "take your time" and I can understand the appeal.
Excuse my ignorance but why do you have to write for hours for your taxes I'm confused
I have a business and have a lot of writeoffs in which I have to itemize all of my hundreds and hundreds of receipts as well as mark different things on each receipt like the date, cost, category payment type etc...This process takes me hours and hours to do...My accountant use to do it all but it costs around $1500 for his time so the last few years I do it myself to save money...
