I would retry to lay them with maybe 2-3 matching color tones mixes and all layed on the car at the same time by like 4 painters. starting with the strongest colors followed suit to lighter, lighter etc...maybe the gold and coppers woudn't be that overpowering?? Or change the ratios of each ones? lighter more, heavier less???
The destination on this one was actually amazing ...though I have a question about it. Just based on the fact of normal loading for the top coat, I'm going to guess those were 5 gram bags of each pearl? So if someone were crazy enough to want to reproduce this, they would just need two gallons of top coat and 5 gram bags of each pearl?
I'm surprised that such a loud cacophony of colors mixed together to become such an elegant and understated dark bronze color with an incredible shimmer
My dad told me when he was younger, he worked at a body shop. When he bought his first car, he took alllll the little leftover containers of paint, mixed them together, and painted his car. He said the result was "a kind of purplish brown"
Like... as a color itself, it's not an ugly color. I just think there might be a better way to achieve that color combination than mixing a bunch of HyperShifts together.
Coming back and rewatching this... While I know it was super expensive, I do wonder what mixing just the cool colors for one batch/car, the metallics for a second batch (because the gold kinda overpowered everything), and the warm colors for a third would look Especially because the first 3 colors before the gold looked amazing
Generally, when you mix all the paint colors together, you get a brown, as well, but it’s quite lovely how the pearls add so much dimension & tone to this color. Interesting, too, how they sort of counteract one another to make the hypershift effect more subtle.. Really beautiful work, as always. ❤️
All y’all never played with paints as kids. When you mix all the colors together, you just get brown. It doesn’t matter if it’s watercolor or fancy car dip. You still just get brown.

I think instead of all 15 colors together I'd like to see the dark colors separated from the lighter colors. That might be Super Dope!!! I just love Aqua & Baby Blues.
That's a really lovely rose bronze. One of my favorite things with the mixed colors is the iridescence. You can still see the blues in the shadow, the purples in the forefront, and the golds and greens in the highlights.

the mixing process looked like opening a portal to another dimension but after the first three collours its just an amorfous blob of grey but on the car it screams "luxurious"
I honestly love this color it is amazing! It's like a really mate yet shiny bronzish color, or like shiny mocha or something like that but all I know is I am LOVING that color and the colorshift to it!!

You know... This actually is sorta nice. It's a very nice tarnished brass from a distance, the shift is really subtle. Then you get closer and it's... an uncanny colour with interesting highlights. I like this.
For me this color is like taking a drink of something bitter with a sweet aftertaste so you don't really like it but you keep taking another drink anyways.

Tropical Bronze. Looks like a gorgeous 70’s tan! I quite dig that! I think that when you put that one with the gold in, about the third bag I think, it negated so much of the other colours, that it was just fighting to get back to juiciness the whole rest of the time, and it never made it. I think if you ever did this again, just leave out that one, and you could come out with something super slick. But this isn’t a fail for sure! Very new and interesting result!
This is absolutely stunning. I never thought I would love a bronze vehicle, but this changed my mind. Im sorry it is so expensive to pull off but man... was she worth it.

That color is very classy! It would look good on a range rover or Bentley. I am looking for a late model Panamera and that would be really dope on a car like that. I’d have to go with bronze rims though. Either gold or bronze would offset it perfect. I’m not sure but I don’t see any flip in the paint. But I would settle for a more conventional close alternative that has some ghost in it or a gold pearl. But thanks for doing that test I’m really binging on your channel! Love it!
The color is actually pretty stunning. I figured it would be a little more neutral, I didn’t pay close enough attention to the colors of the packets but it stands to reason that blues and reds are more desirable than yellows and greens, thus the love dusty mauve. I also didn’t think there’d be as much shift as there is.
Don't know how you can mix all those colors and not expect a brown, but it turned out very nice in my opinion, definitely a shade I'd be into if it weren't so damn pricey.

often a mauvey brown actually, because blue-purple-red pigments are generally stronger than their opposites, so the finished colour will favour that end.
I wish I could see this color on a white base too. I feel like it could bring out the rosy champagne undertone in it instead of deepening the color, and dark champagne is brown. Regardless, I still love the color (:
It is gorgeous. I just think it is too saturated. I would like this revisited but with the mix ratio of 1:15 from each color into one packet so that you come out with the same saturation as one of you normal jobs.
