Rock Salt - Red Hill MTB Park

If you like your trails rough and bumpy then Red Hill MTB Park's Rock Salt is for you. From almost the very start you'll experience some pretty rough terrain on this lovely single track trail at Red Hill.
You skirt a cyclone fence to your left leaving little room for error as you dodge some large rocks and even boulders. Soon after you cleared this minefield of obstacles you're catapulted into a few berms, rock drops and rolls.
It's a rough start on this upper most intermediate trail but if you get through the worst of it on this 1.1km long trail it will get easier and offer some magnificent views of Dromana and Port Phillip Bay.
But it's not all downhill as you'll need to pedal back up to the fire trail toward the end. Nothing too long though because you'll need those legs if you want to climb back to the top. It's a tough climb.

Thanks man, appreciate your support. Yeah Red Hill is pretty sweet but well out of my 5km zone. Some of the local trails I've been riding in my area have a similar feel on the climbs as Red Hill, pinchy and steep.

This is my favourite track Red Hill. Some good technical rocky sections. Good stuff man

Sportilium I reckon the hardest climb is the one after fall line.
It’s always the best trails that have the biggest climbs... 😂

Hate it when people sit in the middle of the trail looking at features. I always put my bike to the side out of the way for people coming through. Just rude imo. Awesome good quality vid.

Yes, you have to climb up quite a bit further along the fire trail. It’s not a pleasant climb though but the trail is clearly marked
