Hey, that is my Rocky Mountain yute with my Slayer on the roof in the car park across the street in the opening shot. I though I saw you there in that morning but I didn't come say hi just in case it wasn't. Anyway, good vid dude!!
Stop it Ryan :P You're shooting my confidence! That looks like an awesome park, very keen to visit. Probably wait a bit now, I've noticed everywhere with 1x1m of dirt gets absolutely packed with riders during and shortly after a lockdown. Awesome video as always Hamish.
Was just up there a few hours ago. Love Wombat, never seen that root before. Must look for it next time! Great vid and even better stack ! Clips are death 💀
Rode there a month ago, hungover AF on my 100mm xc hardtail, just did rock salt and high roller as I had the family waiting for me at the bottom. Amazed I stayed upright tbh
I recently did Red Hill for the first time with a mate who lives there. It had rained the previous week so Pine Climb was slick af. The climb damn near killed me :-D
Love Red Hill! Great video mate, awesome cinematography! Went up a few weeks back and can’t wait to go again! Any group rides planned after lockdown Hamish?
Great video Hamish, but what a stack. I've been trying flats recently after straight 5 yrs only on clips. I'm just sick of them dumping me on the ground every little crash, seem to have a better chance of running it out on flats. Going to miss the clips though.
After watching yours and Hamish's videos I can't believe the stuff you guys do on clips. I've ridden these tracks on flats and I think you'd be psycho to try clips!!
@@BikingCarFanatic I don't know man, I have clips on my roadie and I don't think they are really that much better. Maybe I am just related to Sam Hill and don't realise it though? My mate and I just just under 1000m of elevation gain at Red Hill last weekend on flats so they can't be that much worse!
@@adrianpavlou I agree, they don't make a lot of difference to power or effort or anything like that. Just like them as I don't have to worry about my foot wandering around. I probably just need to get used to flats again. But loving them on the downs, foot out flat out, also channelling my inner Sam Hill haha.
Some incredible drone footage in this man! And those trails look super fun.
Cheers Andy!
Ryans wombat scorpion!! That root catches out a lot of riders. Great video of my local. Cheers!
Great riding boys 👍 crusher is a big bike trail for sure, you guys did well on xc bikes... Good to see your getting your mojo back Hamish 😉

Haha I remember seeing that Rocky!
Cinematography on point 👌. As always.
Thanks Noah
That's top notch quality right there, thanks for posting Hamish. Cheers.
Thanks!
Thanks, I really enjoyed this, great photography also.
Thank you!
Absolute beauty, mate👍👍
Thank you!
Great video, amazing track...thanks for sharing
Wow dude drone shots were great. Loved the reflection in the lake shot.
Thanks Julian
I was thinking you were pushing the limits a bit …. & Ryan got lucky with that otb while clipped in …. Great video Hamish
awesome looking track and what a stack !
dude pulled up alright by the looks of it !

You have levelled up Hamish, that was awesome
Thanks buddy!
great vid, but what a stack, looked like his back wheel caught super slick root.
Thank you Juan!!! ;) Love those drone-berm shots Hamish.
Worked out pretty well huh

That would have been a real challenge in the wet
I did not expect you to hit Crusher without any body protection. You're a braver man than I am! Redhill always delivers the good though!
Haha, don’t think I’ll be doing that again!
Great!
I loved this video
Those steps on crusher are easily doable on a hardtail even in bad conditions. All about confidence and momentum.
Great vid as usual, surprised to see you without a full face helmet for Crusher and the likes. Take care out there.
Yeh I won’t be riding Crusher again! I didn’t take any unnecessary risks (aside from accidentally doing the drop)
If you ever want a challenge try Charlottes Pass, that track is pretty gnarly.
Yeh it’s great. I’ve got a couple of videos with that trail in it
That roots in a perfect spot, not!
glad he was ok, great vid Hamish
Haha thanks JEM
Crusher is intense , a lot going on , I had an over the bars experience, haven’t been back :)
Ryan’s doing well considering how high his saddle is! 😂
Gotta send that into pink bike and gmbn for fails haha. Ripper stack
Haha yep
Love Red Hill! Great video mate, awesome cinematography! Went up a few weeks back and can’t wait to go again! Any group rides planned after lockdown Hamish?
Thank you! Yes I’ll be organising a group ride soon. Stay tuned

@@adrianpavlou Haha, I'm beginning to think the same as you mate! Clips are still nice for a big ride and climbing though.

I like both tbh but ride what gives you confidence I say
Went down this trail a few days ago. Pretty jank but fun. You've gone down this on your Jekyll, how does it compare to the xc?
Defs easier on bigger bike but the Scalpel SE did amazing for an XC bike
I guess that's why I never ride clips 😂 it's more likely to flip when you clip.
Fair crack! I only go there with full face and knee pads and a dually minimum. Well done
Thanks Nick!
Is there a way to get up to the trail head without riding?
You can park at the southern entrance at the top of the hill and ride down to the trail head of these trails
@@longandwinding ok thanks
Keep it up 😊
Awesome video dude! I have the same jersey! Did you get permission this time to fly the drone in the state park?
Nice to see what can be done on a Trail SL3? if you weigh about 50Kg's lighter...and what can't...
faar out dudes doing crusher on a hardtail thats insane haaha. i struggled on my enduro bike lol
i went and rode crusher after watching this and the camera does not do it justice to how gnarly it is
That is why I just bought a full face!
dam ryan love the taste of dirt ahhahaha
I think I was there the same day and rode past you and didn't realise it was you but otherwise I would have stoped and said hi
Next time!
i had that exact crash on fall line last year and broke my wrist
Ouch 😣
whats what happens with XC riders you need to go more woods and train on roots and rocks
