Hey boosted lifestyle, I hope ya see this. I'm thinking about doing a turbo on my buell and I'm curious how fueling is going to work on your build. The fuel pressure regulator on the Buell's is located in the "tank" (inside the frame in the fuel pump hanger) so installing a 1:1 would be a PITA. I'm wondering if I could just use the existing MAP sensor and increase fuel pressure with my tuning software under higher manifold pressure vs. mechanically increasing the pressure with a regulator.
I use a $20 hot plate from can tire to preheat all.my cast stuff. Works good. Turn it on, throw the piece on it while you set the rest up, then weld.
This is the ONLY channel that I will watch a long video the whole way through!!
if you polisch up the manifold and downpipe the colouring will start all over again, and you get that nice even colour!
Fab work has come such a long way bud good work. This things needs a heat shield and the foot pegs kicked out like an inch and it will be a lot more comfortable and safe to ride. The exhaust is going to get someone real good the way it is lol.
I'm doing a XL1200C front pipe only k03 turbo. Deliberate turbo lag. Harleys are beast anyway.

Put exhaust heat wrap on it! It will looks better on it as well and it will protect you and put a turbo heat shield as well.
love ya work mate when i turbo my harley did little charge pipe like that but it pulsated when under boost so made intercooler on other side used that as my plenum volume and man did it come alive and smooth under boost keep up the crazy builds

There’s a lil screw with a finger grip knob on it that is next to the throttle that you can tighten an loosen for warm up process if it’s left a lil tight your throttle will hang up

Good trick I learnt that they use to straighten a diff housing you've warped after welding on new brackets is to weld the opposite side of the pipe to warp it back true :)
Don't even need to weld the opposite side. Bust out the torch. As long as you have a alignment bar between the carrier bearings and the axle bearing you've good to go.

FYI. Use Lysol toilet bowl blue gel cleaner on that stainless. It will make it look amazing. Do it at a car wash. Wear gloves 😉

With those ape hangers it wouldn't be hard to raise the tank and then you could run that charge pipe under the side of the tank??

wil this work on stock internals? how about the added heat in the oil from the turbo? looking into doing this project on my bike soon!
You might've should've put a double slip joint instead of the Vband for the header pipe because of the SS pipe growth with heat. It might be a bit of stress on the head flanges.
Seems like the bike is stalling because the turbo is still spinning and forcing air into the carb, leaning out the mixture? Bike idles fine and has good throttle response, but stalls out during what would be deceleration. The only experience I have with turbos is from watching your channel and a few others but it seems like a lean condition imo. Good luck!

gate is basically pinned makes 1lb or so but its been ridden the last 2 summers no issue and its nice because its more quiet!
dude you might want speed the blade up slow down the travel and move the gard in tighter to the peice so you will get a straighter cut with the saw

its a honda shadow vty 750 1998-2003, is a really nices relatively cheap byke if wanna incurse in the custom wolrd,
i had a 1999 shadow 750 american classic edition, the best bike i've ever had, sadly i completaly lost it because of the venezuelan dictatoriship. ricgth now i'm looking forwar to buy another exact one here in brazil, and yould love to install that turbo kit on it xd.

Dude is using industrial ss fittings instead of thin wall pipe. I understand why though. It's way easier to weld.
And it's stronger. The sch 10 stainless stuff is super popular in turbo manifolds
