Underrated model. I have this, but with positive display. change the bezel, using GWB5600. And the result is minimalist look.

@@ODB_ not any 5600. It wont fit with G5600E. I believe it will fit with DW-5600

I also recently picked up the white bezel, blue band, positive display model - GWX5700ss-7 - for just over a hundred. Nice G and as far I can tell, it's the same module as the 5600. Only difference is the bezel.

In my opinion this is one of the best square modules because it has very little writen on the glass. And it checks all the other boxes. I have two of these with a positive display and both are now in a DW-5600 body (one red and one black).

Hard to read that negative display. Prefer the MIP and tide graph on the GBX100.

Way cool. I always felt the 5700 series was too large for the display, never liked them as much as the 5600 squares. But these G-lide models fit perfectly, the size is appropriate.
The GWX models are also the only 5700 variants to have radio atomic waveceptor. There are G-5700 models from 20 years ago that were solar, but no waveceptor.
Sadly there are no screwback solar atomic 5700 models, you can have one but not both.

I like the watch, the round squares are stunning. But the negative displays ? Not! Yes, it’s trash. Love MIP displays and like positive, but not not and never a negative display ever.

I like module 3215: 2 GWX-5600 and 3 GWX5700. Positive only.

I have a 6.25 inch wrist. What's a good first G Shock? (dont need a lot of fancy stuff but would take some such as step counter so I'm not opposed to it) and if possible I love the brand new straps, they feel amazing. Looking for a smaller diameter and not opposed to the analog and digital look. Thanks guys and gals.

P.S. That teal one that was reviewed a week or 2 ago was PERFECT but a tad too large. For a reference. Tad pricey but such is life.
